I just sized up and Im shopping for bigger plugs. Mostly because I need something appropriate for work. But the size I stretched up to is 12mm. Or 1/2 inch. Or 12.7mm. Or 13mm. I am genuinly going to lose it over these size conversions because Im not about to drop $30 dollars on a nice pair of plugs I cant even wear yet. Like why is it so hard to be consistent. I havent had conversion troubles like this with any other size is there a reason??? Why is 1/2 inch so hard to convert??? What do I even do.

For those of us that have followed the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac trades since they went into conservatorship, my theory is that it's worth waiting until the end of 2026. Here's my thinking:
- Political
- Trump likely wants to privatize Fannie and Freddie. He looked into it his first time but the major things holding it back were capital reserves and political will.
- With a Trump 2nd term, reducing the size of government is one of his biggest goals. In general, privatization is one of the most common ways of doing this. Given that Fannie and Freddie were taken over in 2008, this makes them a prime candidate to be re-privatized.
- Republicans have the power in Congress at the moment.
- Financial
- At the time, based on the plan and rules they would need about $275-300B in reserves. They currently have about $165B in reserves. In recent years, they generate about $25B in net income per year. While that's about a $100B gap, they can also raise capital through private and public means (private investors, issuing stock).
- Financial
- In 2 years, they will be in a better capitalized position. They will likely have made about $50B more in income, thus having a total of about $215B in reserves and about a $50B gap in capitalization needed. Given their economics and situation, it could be a tempting investment for investors (particularly hedge funds).
- Political
- While this is in line, philosophically, with what Trump wants to do, it won't be a money saver and thus not likely a priority under say DOGE. This would be more symbolic and thus, in my thinking, is a lower priority.
- I'm guessing 2024-2026 will be somewhat politically turbulent. This will be the time that Trump takes his biggest swings in terms of cuts to the government since the Republicans control Congress. They will expend political capital to make controversial changes. Therefore, they will focus on their highest priority changes.
- We have to see what happens to Congress in the 2026 elections. In recent history, Congress has changed power from one political party to another (I believe in 2008 Dems won power under Obama, but then Republicans gained power in 2010). If the Dems win back the balance of power in 2 years, there may not be the political will to privatize. The Dems will sell a fear message around housing affordability, increased costs to borrowers so that they can retain power and control over an important political tool.
If I were to place odds, it feels feels like a latter-half Trump term initiative. And the best odds are only if Republicans retain power in both houses of Congress in order to pass a bill to make this happen. They're in healthy positions but a couple more years of making money will put them in a financial sweet spot for it to be supported by politicians.
Even then, it's quite complex and likely is years in the making. But the stock will move if the possibility of privatization in the near term becomes visible.
If Democrats take power back in Congress in 2026, this isn't a place I'd bent money. Same goes if they win the presidency in 2028. There's also a possibility that the government wants to make major changes to how these types of government-sponsored enterprises are structured, making privatization a much more complicated matter.

Just to clarify, this post is NOT a satire/joke/copypasta.
I usually find myself with pen and paper when I play any type of games be it ladder, path of legends, tournaments, or even just regular 1v1s. I'd be jotting down opponent's decks and inter-deck counters and plays I could do. I also like to treat double elixir or overtime as a sort of "half-time" and look at how opponents play differently or what the tower damage is looking like on both sides, adjusting plays based on the type of pushes or defenses that my opponents are doing.
Replays. I LOVE my replays and I pretty much watch all of them except easy wins. On my losses I would watch the whole thing over and over again and jot down what I did wrong or what deck combinations worked for the opponent or what kinds of plays led up to an outcome. Basically like a film session you see in the NFL or NBA. Of course I then do practice on 1v1s and tweak decks or playstyles.
Does anyone else find themselves doing that or is it just me?

Hey friends, I’m just trying to figure out how to use just the cut feature of print and cut, as the title says. I have a file that I want to use on print and cut, however it needs to be printed on heavy cardstock and in full color, and my printer just doesn’t have the capacity to do that well. The file i am using is one designed for cricut print and cut, but I am wondering if this is even possible? I am going to have a printing company print my images and then I’ll put them on the cricut. My concern with this however, is that the cricut puts a border on the image to know where to cut… I assume that if I just send the image to the printing company, it’s not going to have that border. Will it still work?

But...
There is some anecdotal data about people using barcodes from services like SpeedyBarcodes EzUPC and NationWide, without issues (so far).
Some information from EzUPC:
We provide a Certificate of Ownership, Authenticity and Uniqueness that is a binding contract between EZUPC and you regarding the transfer of ownership to you and the legitimacy of the GTINs we sell. This Certificate is accepted by Amazon as a “direct affiliation with the company appearing in the GS1’s GEPIR database”.What do you think, too risky?
When you buy from us your company information will not appear in the GS1 Database—they will show the original company that owns the prefix which we now legally own and are able to sell subset numbers to you due to the 2002 Class Action Settlement Agreement from the lawsuit that the GS1 (formerly UCC) lost and agreed to settlement.
That said, it is absolutely not necessary and definitely not a deal-breaker for most of you that your company will not appear in the GS1 database. Contrary to what they want you to believe, there is no central database that tracks all the gazillions of individual barcode numbers in use throughout the world—that would be impossible. And the fact is, the GS1’s database is only tracking about 25-30%. Not to mention, the GS1 is not government and barcodes are not regulated.
When you buy from us you are only getting individual GTINs (UPC/EAN Barcode numbers) and not a Company Prefix. This is also not a deal breaker for most of you as the vast majority of companies don’t need a prefix, especially if you’re only selling online or locally.

As the title says, I came across a Russell Hobbs heater that goes as high as 37C, but also as low as 7C for the temperature setting.
Seeing as 7C seems like a low enough temp to be considered cool (if not outrightly cold), does this mean in addition to heating, the heater can also cool the room? Or does anyone know what setting the device to 7C would do in this instance? Thanks
