Been using uworld for two of my continued education college courses to get 150 credits and its become apparent to me that some of the questions i'm asked at the end of a chapters sections aren't answered in the lecture nor the actual books chapter that I've completed.
That being said moving forward I'm going to need to figure out the best way to efficiently because I would like to use uworld for the cpa exams and have to ask. Should I be just watching the lectures and not taking any notes until I get to the mcq's and jot notes on those and then maybe rewatch some lectures or read sections in the book for a deeper understanding?

Hey yall.. this really happened!
Yesterday, I agreed to temp at a dental office for five hours. Within minutes of arriving, I knew it was going to be a complete disaster.
The dentist- was also the front desk person. She handles all the verifications, confirmation calls, and scheduling herself. She has two assistants who are fresh out of dental assisting school (in Texas, RDAs can’t even take the coronal polishing course until they’ve been assisting for two years). That left me, essentially, as the “hygienist” for the day.
Here’s how it went down:
• The dentist had us assistants polishing and flossing while she ran a Cavitron around teeth, called it a day, and moved on. No probing. No thorough exam. NOTHING. At one point, I had to point out an obvious cavity on a patient’s front tooth and ask her to chart it. Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to cover it. • I always try to blend in when I temp so patients feel like it’s a normal day. I did my usual: blood pressure, x-rays, and, if a patient mentioned an issue, I’d take a PA to save time. One patient pointed out a black spot on her tooth (#26 DFI), so I checked—it was sticky and soft. When I told the dentist, she said (and I quote): “Where this cavity is, it will just break, so we’ll just watch it.” WATCH IT WHAT? GROW? 🤦 • Another patient was a high school coach, clearly a grinder. I suggested a night guard. The dentist told him, “Insurance only covers 80%, so I really wouldn’t invest the money if I were you.” …I died inside. • They don’t change barrier tape between patients. Only once in the afternoon. Fine, I guess, but when I went to clean the Nomad, the dentist herself told me they don’t use any chemicals—just water. WATER. • Instruments are only run through the sterilizer once a day at the end of the day. When I asked, “What if you run out of instruments?” the assistant said, “Oh, that happens a lot.” I asked what they do when that happens, and she said, “We just wipe them down.” I get that times are tough, but cutting corners on patient safety is completely unacceptable. It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen—and worse, it puts patients and staff at risk.
Please, if you’re running an office or working in one, do better. Patient safety and infection control are not optional.

I think this is an ok thing to post. If it's not, mods, my apologies. I have started working on a new podcast! I used to release The Insurance Panel which has sadly gone a bit defunct. But this new one is sort of the spiritual successor. I am pretty excited about it. We have three episodes out on youtube and will be getting it onto apple podcasts and Spotify soon (I think). The new podcast is called FEXperts and is focused on advice for final expense agents. I believe that the advice should be reasonably universal though. 2024.11.26 19:40 eefmu After a three month relapse I've decided once again to cut the bullshit.
Two and a half years ago I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't drink ever again. I made it through two birthdays, the second one being at a bar with about a dozen friends and never touched a bottle. When two of my friends were convincing me to head out of town to a music festival I felt the same way. I'd be strong enough to just say fuck it, maybe smoke some weed and eat mushrooms - well that didn't work out the way I hoped it would...
For whatever reason, meeting a bunch of new people who knew nothing about my sobriety really brought out that dog in me. Unfortunately that dog in me is an alcoholic. I swore I was just gonna keep it at the festival, but now in the end of November... two days without drink might actually be the longest I've gone. At about midnight tonight it will officially 48+ hours completely sober. I feel great and sick at the same time!
I'm a bit ashamed to talk about this with my friends and family, but I'm proud of myself for consciously avoiding succumbing to this nasty poison that has been slowly killing me since I was 18. With time I'll be able to talk to my loved ones about my journey (and the pitfalls), but I know I can share this with you without anyone getting upset/worried.
However long you've been on your path to sobriety keep it up! I'm proud of you :)

Each time a crime story happens,like everyday criminals(in this case convicted convicts) are paraded through the media with a mostly nonchalant,emotionless expressions or worse joyful.Without going into details,it's enough having lost someone to a disturbed individual only for parents to see criminals having a heck of a time doing it on TV. There should be some..modifications to ease that process in.
- Mugshots have to be taken without weird faces or grimaces. Looks of remorse/fear are acceptable.
- The name of the subject is not known until publication into media ,it's just Psychopath with the ID number regardless of pre-existing mental health conditions,neglect,narcissism ,trauma etc...Leave the debate for the psychiatrists and the legal system.
- Live stream the process to independent collectives like Anonymous that can monitor for abuse.
- Photos are taken until the results are done,let's say the limit is 20 pictures.
- 20 pictures or beyond are a lost cause,hence the amount of takes is digitally engraved into the photo plus everyone could see the case ID alongside the take number. Should be healthy case study material for psychiatric use of sociopathy.
- Distribute these photos to the media with title "Psychopath with name X with ID Y took/harmed innocent lives of;click below for more info) as the main image

The first pic shows them before installing the caliber conversion (ignore the other values, one is the one I use normally and has all other modifications, but none of them affects the damage value). ...In the second picture, I applied the modification to one of them. Notice how the damage did increase, and the "Accuracy" value went down a bit because of the higher recoil. But notice the "caliber" field. It's still using 5.45. With 7.62 damage. The modification changes the stats of the gun just fine, but it will still consume the old (and cheaper, and far more common) ammo of the standard rifle: 5.45. This actually makes this rifle *better* for now, as it'll be cheaper to use while still packing a bigger punch than any other assault rifle in the game. My mother-in-law received a message on facebook from her acquaintance, asking for her phone number so she could enter her into a raffle, which might win her a prize.
And so she gave the number, and a short while later a text arrived which reads:
" Verification Code (AWS SMS Developer Sandbox): 093875. This code is for software testing and should be ignored if received unexpectedly. "
Unfortunately she did send the code and we are not sure what to do next. We are in a small Eastern bloc country, and she uses the phone for little else besides facebook and youtube. No online finances etc.. How should we protect ourselves? Should she be changing any passwords or changing numbers? Is this a sim swap attempt?

Continuing my fool's errand from last night or turning cargo ships into personnel transports, i took inspiration from someone's comment that the chairs i was using weren't snapping right because they were too tall, so i grabbed a variety of chairs and couches from Kel To and, after a bit of trial and error i landed on the low end arm chair being the best fit, and i offer you, The Intrepid Drop Ship. Six passengers per pod, you can only use the sit interaction while the cargo grid is extended, but i was fine in the seat with the grid retracted. Practical? Kind of. Comfortable? Probably not. A hell of a lot cheaper than the Cutlass Steel? Absolutely! A ridiculous way to kill a half hour of my day? Totally, lol
Also included is the Titan, but it was only practical to get four seats inside.
