Windows on deck! I put straight windows 10 on my deck, and havent looked back. I had to reimage steam OS on two different occasions because it would black screen and get stuck on verifying installation after unplugging from dock. ( Different dock both times) Lost all my saves, twice, the second reimage was enough for me to boot SteamOS to the curb, it worked great otherwise, but thats a pretty serious bug if I lose my 20+ hr Persona save after trying to get into it a second time and succeeding. Plus so many other saves.
I guess i just want to know your experiences with SteamOS? Are you a dual booter? What do you use on your windows to make it more handheld friendly or just generally better?

I'm currently looking for any fantasy series (or maybe a stand alone book) which features a comprehensive study of magic from a scientific point of view. Something like "Ra" By qntm, except for the fact that I didn't really enjoy the way qntm narrates.
The more science it has, the better: equations, conservation of energy, etcetera. Also, no, not Brandon Sanderson. I like his work but I'm looking for something REALLY "scienc-y" like.
Something ideal for me would be a Tipler-Mosca (iykyk) but for the rules of magic.
Any reccomendations appreciated, thanks!

So I did a quick search, didn't see this so I'm posting it now.
So I've discovered a bug that causes your actions to lose 90% functionality. You can click skills to get a targeting field, but can't confirm a target after. You can't move, end your turn, or drink potions (though the potion cooldown will trigger) either.
I've repeated the circumstances a few times now and can say with 99% certainty this is caused by a character dodging an attack from a dead enemy (in this case a lingering thunderstorm) and trying to hit (in my case, shoot) them with a dodge counter.

Idk the time when it's supposed to be sold, but theyre still wrapped up, sign still up, and price unlisted so I assume it's still not the time yet. Newbie here so please no spoilers. :)
Lots of cool helmets with great powers, but I hate how it covers their face. During the battles is fine, but when conversations come up I like to see the person's face instead of just a helmet. -- and there isn't always time to take the helmet off.
I found a mod for invisible capes, but that didn't work. (didn't think so but had to try...)
