Is the over-the-top, melodramatic style of most dark romantasy inherent to the genre, do you think?
I'm plotting a piece I'd like to market that way as it is dark, a fantasy setting and has a romantic through line - but I'm one of those pretentious types who tries to be 'literary' and more subtle about the way characters interact. In a hypothetical situation where I'm not totally deluded and do produce a literary dark romantasy - is there room for that in the genre space or will it simply be panned for not meeting expectations?

I was planning on buying one of the souls games for black Friday. My first souls game was Bloodborne, then elden ring, and I either wanted a dark souls or sekiro, and came across this. The trilogy of games for £25. Is that good? Apparently it comes with the dlcs too but I'm not sure. I need someone to check if I should tell my dad to get this or not, he'll kill me if it's not what I was expecting. Also does ds3 run at 60fps on ps5 and if it does, will it matter that it's part of the trilogy, or are the discs sold separately or something. Really don't want to make a mistake here. Don't got a lotta money to waste.

2024.11.27 00:20 Ok_Abbreviations1263 Seam Corner Preference missing in Cura 5.9
In Cura 5.9, the Seam Corner Preference is no longer available when you choose Z Seam Alignment as User Specified and then choose Z Seam Position as whatever. You have to choose Sharpest Corner only for this to be enabled. This was not the case with earlier versions of Cura . In the earlier versions I could choose User Specified, a specific Z Seam Position and still be able to choose Seam Corner Preference. I was able to get much cleaner seams that way. Is this done for a reason or did something get overlooked in 5.9?

 | Hi, when waking my system from sleep, it said the memory card was removed and it was updating the home screen. I turned it off, removed and reinserted the SD2vita, rebooted system and when refreshing the livearea everything was okay. I just wanted to double check everything is okay with the mounting/detection ? as I've not read about this issue before. I'm not sure which edition of card reader it is, bought in 2020. Also, does any one know any good full spoilers explanation texts of the book of the new sun? I recently got the Andre-Driussi chapter guide but it doesn't really link events that happen in a chapter to future events that take place in the books.
