Hey everyone. Having some troubles with my British shorthair. Here’s some background information for context.
For a while she’s been peeing in random places. Guest beds, couches, my girlfriend and I’s bed, girlfriends mouse pad on her desk etc…
Took her to the vet a while ago and the vet said it was inconclusive but that they found ketones and a few other things that could explain it. One being an increase or decrease in white blood cells, can’t remember. Also explained how our cat has a diagnosis (not sure of the name), where when she’s stressed, her bladder gets inflamed, and also pointed out she has a smaller bladder than her breed typically has, or cats in general.
After that, we found that there was crystals in her pee, we could see it in our furniture and it looked like grains of sugar. Brought her back to the vet with a urine sample and they couldn’t find anything off with her sample, meaning everything they found in the first sample must have been inaccurate such as the ketones or the white blood cell difference and such.
We finally bought cat diffusers for the house that help with stress. After that, no pee anywhere.
Month later, which was now two days ago, they went dry and we had to buy refills that we are currently waiting for, and noticed pee on the couch with crystals. My question is, what could be the issue? The vet has been no help and we have no idea what is causing this infection. While the diffusers work, we are trying to treat the root of the cause and trying to see if there is a way we can fix this. Any idea what she may have? Or anyone here who had the same experience? We are tired of paying to bring in a urine sample that the vet cannot seem to read, and we can’t keep spending money for them to tell us they can’t find anything.
Any help or advice would be great.
TLDR: crystals in cat’s pee, brought two urine samples and vet can’t find any issue, cat was diagnosed with a thing however, where her bladder gets inflamed when she’s stressed.

2024.11.27 00:25 Scary_Step_6274 Aita for not wanting to be seen with my disabled grandma in public?
Before you guys burn me at the shake hear me out lol.
So I(16f) don’t like my grandma since before she even became disable. Growing up her my grandpa and my aunt used to treat my little sister Amy(12) as some sort of liability. Amy has Down syndrome shes also a sweet and caring girl but for them she’s just her disability.
That’s it they used to avoid even being in the same room alone with her like she was a disease. Growing up they’d showed me and my older brothers with gifts time out on nice vacations everything and just ignored her.
The worse was my grandma and my parents barely stood up for Amy and just let her treat her like she’s nothing.
When I noticed their treatment of my baby sis i started resenting them and stopped hanging out with them as much. Now age and maybe karma(lol) has gotten to my grandma as her health has been declining rapidly shes been now using a cane to walk around but also uses a wheelchair.
Like i said I don’t like her so I don’t like pushing her around nor hanging out with her. Things came to a head a few days ago,I was going out with my friends to the mall and she was over and asked if she could comes
I told her no but she kept pushing and them jokes if I was embarrassed of her. I asked her the same why she’s embarrassed of Amy because If so I am and I don’t want to be seen her when she’s clearly disabled.(things she used to say about Amy) she started tearing up and my dad told me I wasn’t going and took my car for the the next month
I haven’t apologized nor do I plan too, she had no problem saying that about her own grandkid she doesn’t get to be sad when it’s her turn. The only semi-problem I have is my brother bitching about me taking it too far. But they kiss the ground my grandma walks on so I’m not taking their opinions as important which is why I’m here, Aita?

So I have a friend I used to spend everyday with and it seemed like we both genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. Recently it’s felt like she only talks to me when she wants something. She doesn’t work because she’s in school and is fully focused on that. If she has no food or is starving I’ll sometimes help her. On days that she asks for something she seems to like to talk to me, call, text, snap whatever the method. But on days where she doesn’t need anything it feels like she doesn’t want to talk to me I don’t get why. I’ve helped her with so much not only small gifts but with rides or helping with chores around the house. I’m fine with helping because she’s my best friend and I love her but it’s felt really off recently. And I’m wondering if this is one sided and if I should stop texting and see what happens. I’m just afraid of losing my friend and hurting her.
