2024.11.27 03:41 Piotr_Barcz Perforator's controller board stopped connecting
I've run into an issue with my piano roll perforator that's basically a paper advance equipped laser engraver.
I just came back from CA and I tried connecting the machine to LaserGRBL (com port shows up and everything looks normal) but when I click connect it just plays the disconnect sound the connection never goes through.
Never had this before in the 6 months I've had the machine. Does anyone know what could possibly have happened? I didn't touch the set up and I tried every troubleshooting fix I could think of (restarting both computer and perforator, plugging into different usb plugs etc.) and nothing works.

a month has past since my ex broke up with me. arguably he was the best relationship ive had so far. ive dated all terrible partners in their own manner. i love and trusted this man so much and was open in vulnerability. while of course giving myself respect, i believed i was a good partner. his reason to breaking up was because of his mental health, and informed me he wasnt capable enough to benefit another person. after he broke up, we had a trip still planned to see each other. stupidly enough i wanted to see him so i went through with it. i slept with him, had a drink with him, and it felt like everything was fine but not at the same time. it didnt feel good after going back, and he hinted a future to get back together. he said he was thinking to fly me over again in the future. but i convinced myself that he led me on.
i found out what he said about me to his two close people before the day he broke up, after sneaking through his phone when he was showering in our hotel room during that trip. it tore my heart apart. they were not nice things.
after that trip, i didnt hear from him a lot since i went on a trip out of the country for two weeks. i got back, and still no answer. ive reached out to him and always want to know how he is and what he was thinking to reconciling. nothing. i stalk his profiles everyday and i cant get over him. i think about him all the time. it hurt to realize everyday that he doesnt care as much as i care for him.
i have tried drinking, smoking, therapy, going out everyday, meeting new people, attempting to hook up with people, painting more, and hanging out with many friends now. nothing helps. i feel so empty. i feel like i will not meet a man like him. he was kind, gentle, and funny. the time we had together was amazing, and i felt like we had a healthy relationship. had no problems before he left me. it was blindsided. i was planning to move in with him after i graduate from college (one more year left), so we could start a life together.
i feel like he never felt love, but was more infatuated with me than real love. i loved him so much, i wanted to experience to trust someone again but after this, i dont think i can. i havent been taking care of myself, ive lost weight, barely sleep, and get more frequent mental episodes. how can i truly get over him? i dont want to block him since i am hanging on a small thread of hope to a chance he would want to reconcile again. but those chances are close to zero.

2024.11.27 03:41 rcsez Non-crazy sites to sell extra stuff?
So I’ve been cleaning out the closets and basement, I have stuff I don’t need anymore, holsters, brass, etc… and I want to post it for sale. The forums I used to be on (SigTalk, XDTalk, etc…) require 100 post minimum to use their marketplace sections now and I haven’t used them in so long my post counts are zeroed out. Getting to 100 posts is going to be painful when every other reply is a rant about vaccines or some off the wall FJB quip that isn’t even relevant to the thread. I’m going to grind my teeth down to nubs trying that route.
Are there any other sites with marketplace forums I can check out? I don’t mind putting my time in to participate and post, just looking for other venues.

1) With the new land of Rinacita soon to be available to journey to, I recently started paying more attention to certain things around Huanglong,...like these huge megafossils lying around in various areas. It got me thinking about what other possible lands might soon become available... Like a possible land that's stuck in prehistoric times due to something that happened like Mt Firmament... 🦖 🦕 ...could there be a possible place where dinosaurs or dino-TD's roam? What kind of new land would you guys like to see?
2) This pic collage in the Illusive Realms jumped out at me, because I actually remember seeing this about Yuanwu in previous Realms before. This is actually proof that Changli is NOT the only or the FIRST person to lucid dream. Pretty cool that my boy Yuanwu dreams 'sober', or lucidly, also.😘😚😘 3) ...this one is just kinda annoying is all. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ If we can't open these remaining chests over here at the pier ...THEN GET RID OF THEM ALREADY! 🎁👀🚫🙅🏼♀️😭 Staring at prizes you can't open is,... frustrating. I think it has something to do with the smoke trail, but it's not perfect. Sometimes, I can't act even though I don't notice any smoke, and sometimes I can even though there's still smoke visible.

is it standard to ask to see the confirmation code when someone comes to pick up an order? out of all the years of going to panda ive never been asked to show it.
long story short my boyfriend’s mom goes to pick up our food on the way home from her work and she told me that the two people in front of her didn’t have to show it either but when she got up there the lady working the pickup counter asks for the name and says my boyfriend’s name first because she didn’t know it was under my name, and then asked if it was under my name when she found out it wasn’t under his. the lady then tells her she can’t pick up her food unless there’s a confirmation code because she “didn’t know what name it was under.”
that caused me and my boyfriend to have to drive 20 minutes back up there to get our food we ordered an hour ago and when i get up there the two people in front of me also didn’t show a confirmation code. i confronted the lady about it and she told me the same thing that my boyfriend’s mom “couldn’t figure out the name” so she couldn’t get it without a confirmation code.
we even wondered if this was a racist encounter because my boyfriend’s mom is mexican and speaks broken english but all the white people got their food without an issue. i’m wondering if there’s anything we can do about this?

So I'm fairly new, enjoying it so far. Mainly Necromancer class but I do have the gunslinger one but dont have any skill points in it. All are in Necro, specifically summoning pets. In battle I just summon pets and spam my Electric ring special ability in the middle of enemies attached to my single sword and shield. I feel I can do better than just spam.. So I kinda need some help for builds? Also I've seen dodges/rolls but don't know how to do so. Keybinding is quite overwhelming (I have like 4-5 now, can't imagine any more than that)
Primarily I just collect varying tools and sell them unless it pertains to my main element (electricity, increased health/mana regen).

Title says all, yeah yeah get good.
I’ve never been a fan of being able to recruit an NPC in a battle royale game, especially when they boast about requiring some shape or form of skill in order to succeed (IE building, proper aim, etc.)
But man, they really outdid themselves with the annoying factor when it comes to Snoop Doggs NPC.
Sure, his aim is absolutely terrible just like every other NPCs, but he has an incredibly good skill which is the gas bombs. 9/10 times he will hit your direct area with it, causing you to move elsewhere. On paper, this is fine. It’s basically area denial.
However, the issue is that you’re solo, taking on two players now, while one is lobbing grenades at you that leech straight through your shields onto your health.
again, I know. Get good. But there have been quite a few situations during this season where you pretty much cannot fight against the other player while they have an NPC in the final few circles, even if you have the high ground those grenades will fly directly to your position.
My point being is, I do find it really unfair that you can hire NPCs in solo in general. I’d prefer if they were more so support characters rather than counter offensive. I shouldn’t have to worry about pushing an easy target when they’re being covered by an npc who can very easily let the other player get away because of the health pool they have.
I had just lost a ranked match against someone with 3 kills because I basically could not move anywhere that wasn’t an open space because of his support NPC. So excuse me if I’m a little salty

G'day all, I've got a little bit of money (<$100k) I'd like to put in a HISA. I'm ready to sign up for a Macquarie account because it looks to be the best for my needs. They kinda get garbage reviews on productreview.com.au, but then so do all the other banks I've looked at (I've been with ANZ for 20+ years and don't have a problem with them and they got about the same rating).
So is anyone aware of any horror stories or a solid reason to avoid Macquarie, or is there some clear superior provider for this type of account? My main criteria are a solid base rate and ability to withdraw without penalties.
