Inte Stockholmsbo men intresserad i stadsplanering som undrar varför det är helt dött mellan Årsta och Södermalm? Det finns massa skog mellan Årsta och Årstaviken som inte är bebyggd men som är optimal för en ny stadsdel lik Hammarby sjöstad eller Lindholmen i Göteborg.
Man skulle kunna bygga tusentals bostäder där, 2-3 broar till Södermalm, några fräna skyskrapor och kunna förlänga innerstaden. Varför byggs det inte när det råder bostadsbrist?

I recently moved to Poland, and while I am happy, it’s been hard to adjust socially. I’ve been on many dates and the women are very judgmental and dismissive. One of the things that really bothers me is them talking down to me. I’ve heard from my friend group that my bubbly nice guy joking personality is not attractive because they are looking for a provider not a fuckboy. When I try to be more serious suddenly I appear angry and an asshole. So I feel I can’t win. I am in fact looking for a future wife not one night stand.
I just try to be myself. Kinda flirty and making jokes. But they don’t like it. One thing that has happened about 5 times is girls I’ve taken out/girls in my friend group is they make little jokes I don’t have a degree and ask if my “part time office job” is enough money in Poland. It triggers the fuck out of my ego
The reality is I’m 33 and just sold my company in the US last year and received $3 million which is invested. My part time job here is just for social interaction and covering simple bills
My arrogant asshole question is how do I handle the fact that every woman here expects a masculine man who’s working his way up, when I’m kinda goofy and have already made it. Do I really need to just tell them I’m rich so they stop being so dismissive? Idk I’ve never been rich until now. I feel like id be a douchebag bringing it up. How should I modify my behavior.

So we got a new store manager here recently and he basically doesn't want us to talk at all to each other while working or doing anything like no communication at all. He said it's unproductive even if we are working. At first it was just nightshift witch I work but now it's going to all the other shifts . I feel like it's prison now he even turns down the music so he can hear people talking or listen in on them. Just a rant I guess.

I received a notification this morning that my tax code was changed from 1393L to 1114LX.
On the website they say:
“We changed this because:
your Personal Pension Payments has been reduced from £1,438 to £377 we estimate you have underpaid £247 tax this year”
The 2 main things that changed in the 2023/2024 return compared to the 2022/2023 were medical benefits and contributions to SIPPs.
- Medical Benefits: £44 in 22/23 and £70 in 23/24
- Payments to registered pension schemes where basic rate tax relief will be claimed by your pension provider (called ‘relief at source’). Enter the payments and basic rate tax: £2875 in 22/23 and £3769 in 23/24
- Total of any ‘one-off’ payments in box 1: £0 in 22/23 and £3015 in 23/24
I do intend to make the same contributions next year to my SIPP, so what should I do? Can I amend my return? And how? Should I just put £0 in the one-off box if I intend to make the same level of contributions next year?
