I am a second-year student pursuing ECE in a tier 2 college. As of the second semester, my GPA was 7.84. I am also feeling sad because the third semester has been quite daunting to me, and I have little hope of increasing my GPA by a very small margin.
I have the ultimate goal of pursuing my masters in the US after graduating in '27, in the MS ECE/EE ML track in at least one of the T100 universities, but i suppose my low cgpa could hinder it. I still belive that if i work harder, i can push it above 8 but only time can answer. Well I did work on my co-curriculars and stuff
my_qualifications:Co-Curriculars:
1) Participated in 10+ hackathons and secured many prizes (national level as well)
2) I have 1 intern call offer from startup company who happen to be the judge of the hackathon i attended.
3) Pitched an ml-based startup at a national level pitch organised by IITB, (Round 2 qualified, topmost in college)
4) I am working on 2 major projects ( almost completed) in Ml field but wish to publish a paper on one of them as well provided I learn on some advanced aspects of it.
5) Key role in the tech club of the college
6) Done mini projects in ML and Core;
7) Plan to do Diploma course of IITM
Extras: Varsity Basketball; Volunteering at local Rotaract, MUN.
What is the impact of CGPA on my profile assuming i do well in GRE and TOEFL which i shall start prepping up next semester, and am i on the right track to get good admits, do i need work exp or is it ok to do MS directly after grad, and also seeing other posts kind of scares me of,like is the job market really that bad ?

2024.11.27 09:50 Omichli I learned today that if you spun around in 360 rapidly for fun, you will be denied progress.
I did this twice today with a friend, we were both spinning around like children in 360 really fast right before the timer ran out for us to begin the match and then after the match, we both got denied progression to XP. No one got mad or said anything about it during the match, no one even talked at all. We all played quietly and were focused on the game the whole time. So I believe the game automatically thought we were disrupting others with our behavior.

Asalamualaikum,
I recently met a potential and it seemed to be going smoothly, we were very compatible , had the same interests and goals and my wali was involved the whole time. However , it didn't end up working out due to him not being ready or stable enough to provide for a family due to an unexpected situation. Although my family suggested we both wait until we were done with university, he didn't want me to wait for him and so it ended there.
I'm having a hard time getting over it and I wanted to wait for him but would never reach out in the future unless he does first. Regardless it's still a good idea for me to wait at least a couple years before considering marriage again so as to further my career and be more financially independent myself. Should I still wait?

Hello, as the titles says, Rhum has been spilled on my mousepad which form some kind of puddle on it. That puddle got to the keyboard and it seems some of it has managed to entre through the case.
TLDR: My keyboard is all fucked. Most of the keys don't work properly anymore. They do still work some of the time but it's very inconsistent... unusable in this stat. Anyone know what the broken parts might be and if I can send it back for repair to Razer (I pay ofc, not talking about warranty here)? Would that be economically viable or is it fully trashed and for the bin?

I just got a Meta quest 3 and also have a pretty solid PC, so I will probably get most games via steam etc. for performance/modding reasons.
However I’m also travelling for work quiet frequently so I was looking for a handful of games I could get directly on the meta quest, in the best case without loosing out to much on PC benefits like mods for beat saver or blade and sorcery for example.
Do you guys have any recommendations?

 | If anyone else has ever the same issues my team has had distinguishing between which organisation you're currently working in then I have a solution for you. I have developed a chrome extension that allows you to set your own custom header colours for each organisation you work in. This extension also works seamlessly across hubdoc as well. It does come with a small subscription fee, but it's a small price to pay for the time saved from mistakenly putting data into the wrong organisation. If the link doesn't work the extension is called "Xero/Hubdoc Header Colour Changer" and can be found in the chrome web store. Currently this only works on Google Chrome on desktop, but if there is enough interest I will develop the extension for other browsers.
