Does anyone know of any resources in the Bay Area that help with providing gifts for children. I understand I shouldn’t be asking for handouts but I’m a single mom of 3 and just left a dv relationship with their father and trying to get back on my feet but doing that with 3 kids under 5 is a challenge and this is their first holiday without their father and I don’t want them to know I’m letting them down although We’re staying in a family member’s living room for the meantime and won’t be able to afford a tree until they go on sale a day or so before Christmas so they might already see it besides the baby who’s too young to understand. Sometimes it feels like there’s no light at the end of my tunnel .. like I’m leading them nowhere.. anyways if anyone knows any suggestions please let me know

Hi all, asutralian here. We dont have many casinos that have cash games and my only casino is 3 hours away.
There is a local no rake 1/2 game hosted at my local pub.
The buy in is $50-$200. Bought in for $200, doubled and then some to $530~
There isn't any real danger of not being invited, it's an open to all kind of situation as far as I know.
I travel 30 mins approx to get to the game (rural aus sucks)
How long do you reckon I should stay to avoid hit and run claims. I don't know anyone here and I don't think there is danger of not being allowed to play, but I really don't feel it's worth the risk.

2024.11.27 09:50 Dangerous_Dingo_3613 Please Help Me Find Beeping Noise in Room
For the past four nights, there has been an intermittent beeping in my room. This is not an electronic beeping but a deeper tone that my wife (who is on her first night of it since she was out of town) describes as "mechanical." It is two short but loud beeps and then it is quiet for 30 minutes to an hour then it does it again. With it being so spread out, it is difficult to figure out what it is. We have done a ton of testing and cannot figure it out out.
The only things plugged in are 2 lamps, a JBL speaker (playing rain sounds while we sleep), baby monitor, Dyson fan, phones to charge, and a TV and air purifier powered off (both on other side of room from where beeping seems to be).
We know it is not the baby monitor as it was with my wife while she was out of town.
Things we have tried:
- Changing out power strips/surge protectors
- Removing smart plugs
- Unplugging non-used electronic devices
- Flipping circuit breaker off and on in case it was a GFCI fault alert
- Unplugging air purifier and Dyson
- Changed smoke/CO detector battery
- Dug through drawers to try and locate any random unused electronics and only found an old Apple watch and an old Bose speaker that haven't been charged in years
Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you!

I've been looking to earn some extra money in my spare time. I can work on maths/physics/computer science. I'm a IT Engineer by profession. but earning is not satisfactory with the city's lifestyle.
I'd be very happy if you guys can suggest me 'little work' earning options. I don't want to earn 100k in first go, i understand it will take time. But I really need some advise to utilize my time, not stressing to learn new thing, but just giving something some time and earn little bit. Hey guys! Well the title says everything lmao. I basically installed OW this week and I already have 30> hours. I feel that I can take a bit more seriously. So I started practicing my AIMing specially tracking, seeing all the heroes and their habilities and just studying how to play properly.
I like playing flank (or dive in IDK the all the terms) DPS like reaper, genji or tracer. But also I enjoy playing healers like Zenyatta or Kiriko. And I really wanted to know the basic terms and concepts that I have to understand (for example, things like farming, trading, vision control. ETC this kind of basic concepts in league, but obviously applicated to OW) and when could be a good moment to start playing rankeds

Mine is MUI gokus rush I am able to time the vanish 9/10 times and it pisses ppl off soooo bad. I do need to work on vanishing roshis lightning attack as that is the one I really struggle with.

Well I am deeply in love with one of my friends. But she doesn’t feel the same way about me and there is no chance that I going to confess my feelings to her because I know that will affect our friendship. Still I hope that someday in future we might be together.
Now the thing is I am also confused about my career. I was planning on doing masters from USA (still not sure) but doing so will not make us more close. So now should I make decisions on the basis of a fantasy that I believe might become true or should I choose what’s best for me.

2024.11.27 09:50 Baba_Buttercupp Disability Support Pensioner need to go overseas for funeral of immediate family member.
My mother passed away earlier today, I've spoken with the funeral service provider and we've begun the process to repatriate my mother back to her home country for her funeral who told me the process should take up to 7 or 8 days. As her next of kin it's my duty to follow through with her wish and take her back home for the funeral.
My problem however is I am currently on a disability support pension. I know that people on a DSP can only get paid for up to 28 days of the DSP but in my religion and customs funeral stuff can take up to 40 days(funeral/40 days prayer ceremony etc). If I go over for say 2 months and return to Australia, will my DSP be cancelled meaning I have to reapply from scratch with all my medical certificates, dr's reports etc or will I just have to notify Centrelink and they reinstate my payments?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance everyone.
