I couldn‘t find the info anywhere. Did Roger (and his crew, Rayleigh etc) know about Imu? Or did he think the Elders to be the top power? If he knew wouldn‘t he have exposed Imu‘s existence? He did find the One Piece, so the One Piece must not be linked to Imu or else he would know about Imu. But then Joy Boy and Imu seem to have been rivals. I don‘t really get it.

I recently upgraded my motherboard to an Aorus 870E WiFi and paired it with a Ryzen 9800X3D. I’m using a Kraken 240 AIO cooler and a Corsair RGB hub for my fans and RGB strips. Before the upgrade, everything was working perfectly. However, after the swap, none of my SATA-powered peripherals are receiving power.
I’ve already updated the BIOS to the latest version and reassembled everything to ensure all connections are secure. I even tried using a different SATA power cable from my PSU, but nothing has worked so far.
Everything else seems to be functioning normally, but I can’t use the PC because the AIO cooler isn’t running, causing the CPU to overheat. I’m not sure whether the issue lies with the motherboard or the PSU.

Hi all, hope this is appropriate to post here. I am looking to buy my first desktop gaming PC (previously laptop owner), and am getting lost in the sauce with all the options, names and prices. Honestly I have always been predominantly console-based and am a bit intimidated by all the jargon.
I've got about £1600 ish to work with (note link is £1699 but wouldn't want to go higher than this really).
I already have a monitor (Samsung G9) and all necessary peripherals etc. Note I am in the UK and don't want to import from abroad.

I will mainly be using it for gaming (FPS, strategy, RPG, anything I can get my hands on - currently BG3 and Elden Ring) and want to get something that will be suitable to game on at reasonably high settings for the next 5 years or so.
I will also be using for work as a GIS professional in the ecology sector, but honestly these specs are waaaaaay more than I need for that, gaming will be the main use-case.
With all that preamble, does this PC look good in terms of specs / value for money? Appreciate that black friday is coming up and will definitely hold off until the weekend to purchase, but good to get my expecatations in order for what I can get for the money.

2024.11.27 11:52 narnarnartiger For people who were fully forced/ converted to write right handed, was it painful or traumatic? Is there such a thing as gentle conversion? - kid's being gently made to write right handed, but it wasn't painful or traumatic?
I was 5 when i was converted to write right handed. It was very traumatic. My correction resulted in me developing a permanent speech disorder which i still struggle with as an adult. The correction failed, I refused to change, and I still write and draw left handed, a really bad permanent speech disorder is all I got from the correction.
Someone asked: is there such a thing as a gentle non-traumatic conversion? If it happened at a really young age etc, is that possible?
Based off my personal experience, I was obviously biased and doubtful. Wondering on your thoughts and experiences.
