Hey! Read only a few stories from this book before having to return it to the library and subsequently forgetting the title. This book was so strange!! To the best of my memory, the cover of this book was of a pregnant belly of a naked woman, with animals and plants inside of her and coming out of her. I can briefly describe 3 of the short stories from this book, they are quite surreal and involve body horror. 1.) the first story in this book was from the perspective of a father that worked at an amusement park sort of things. His marriage is sort of on the rocks. He had a daughter, who was disabled, and required lots of care, including being bathed, fed, etc. Because she was about to go through puberty, doctors advised him and his wife that they preform a surgery to stop the daughter from going through puberty, and keeping her, “small” so she is easier to care for. The parents are hesitant because they feel their daughter is entitled to womanhood, but ultimately decide it’s for the best to get the surgery to remove her breast buds. NOW. This is where this story gets gross and body horror-y. So TW if you don’t want to hear that. The doctors remove the breast buds and for some reason present it to the parents. The parents, no joke, stick them in their mouths. The pair run outside, spit the buds out, and plant them outside so apart of their daughter will grow. CRAZY.
Okay I remember that story the most because it is INSANE but here are the other two i remember
2.) this young teenage girl gets pregnant by a man. She is having a hard time dealing with the pregnancy, so she imagines the unborn fetus as several different animals, a giraffe, a cat, so on and so on. I don’t remember how it ends
3.) old lady dies and gets abducted by aliens in a white big room. It was the last story in the book.
I remember what drew me to this book was the cover art because it was beautiful. This book was in my highschool library. I believe the author was a woman.
Any help would be so so appreciated. I know this is a crazy book, and I feel like I need to re read it now that I’m a bit older. Thank you!!!

My husband is considering taking a SM job at a DG. He’s been offered the job and everything and needs to let them know soon. I’ve been reading this sub for a few days to try to gain a better understanding of the company and the pros and cons. Does anyone have SM experience at a DG and would recommend it? What are some cons he should consider? I worry he will be working 50-60 hour weeks and since he is salary, he won’t be making overtime. We have a young 1 year old and I too, work full time.

Is always near 150 but the lower no. Stays around 60 - 50 it makes me dizzy when the lower no. Drops around 50 i try to cut salt in each and every meal possible lots of water regular walk any other thing I could do to help myself

Hi all. New in opel community. Just bought recently Insignia 2016 with original 86k km, mint condition, a/t, 2.0cdti. I was wondering if there is a way to find out if I have power-folding mirrors or not? I looked into manual and it says to put the side mirror button in neutral and push down, but that doesnt do anything. I also looked at the fuse 55, which is for mirrors and windows, it is fine. Can it be possible i have mirrors that manually fold? I am scared to try it manually, in case they are power folding ones, so I dont break something.

One of my direct reports is the Office Manager. I think our Office Manager is great, but my boss says he hears bad things about her and wants me to talk to key staff and get more information about the quality of the customer service provided by the Office Manager.
So, I walked around the building and talked to about six different people for feedback. The results of this was shocking. I heard many stories about how the Office Manager was profane, rude, indifferent, lazy, and lacking in technical skills.
My boss directed me to "write up" the Office Manager for her rude behavior.
I met with the Office Manager and told her about my conversations with these key managers. The Office Manager was quite upset. She insisted that she was polite, professional, hard-working, and skilled in all technical aspects of her job. She wants to meet with her critics and get a better understanding of their concerns and complaints.
Everyone I talked to spoke to me in complete confidence and they didn't want the drama of having to meet with the Office Manager. They insist the Office Manager would just blow up, deny everything they said, and make working with her in the future nearly impossible. The Office Manager said I was naive in managing by gossip, and unfair in writing her up based on gossip without specific details of her shortcomings.
* My interactions with the Office Manager up to recently have been excellent and I thought she was doing a great job.

Is it just me or do all 3 of the maps included with FS25 feel crap? None of them seem to have options to merge multiple fields to make a big field - the American map doesn't really feel very American.
We've been given all this big kit to play with and then maps with fields sizes of 8-10ha being the largest.
I played Haut-Beyleron for the duration of FS22 along with a bit of Calmsden, and then putting 200-300hrs+ in to Haut-Beyleron 4x. Loved that map.
Anyway, just wondered if I was the only one to feel this way.

 | So I ordered this shoes on 13 of October and recieved it but no brand box was present. And it wasn't a correct fit so I ordered a refund and It got delayed because the box wasn't present first and then got accepted on 25th I think. The pick up date was 1st of November but I was going home on that day(I live in hostel). There was an attempt to pickup on 20th(the first time I requested refund) and there was a number provided with it and a pin. I called that number on 30 th Oct through flipkart and a pick up agent came and picked it up. THEN the refund GOT CANCELLED. I tried calling them which they have accepted but the keep saying the logistics team or something has said the item isn't with them. Now what do I do?
