i (19f) have been talking to this guy (19m) for a few months. he’s so perfect and he truly cares for me, we both feel happier during and after every conversation we have and we’ve been talking all day every day for a long time. he’s sweet and always compliments me, and i like him so much. neither of us have any past relationship experiences and this is very new to us. we share the same views on things and we communicate really well, i value his input so much. we are long distance though, we’ve only met once and that was just after we started talking. we send each other a lot of pictures but we don’t live that close because we go to different universities. we’re going to meet up next month though. he basically is me in another person which is so rare and even though he’s told me all his flaws and i’ve told him mine we both still like each other a lot. however i didn’t initially find him attractive and i think i do now after looking at pics of him a lot but when i go outside i see a lot of guys that i am more attracted to than him, like he is not exactly my type but i do find him so cute and he can be hot too. is it wrong of me to suggest dating him knowing that im not as attracted to him as i could be? i dont want to deprive him of someone who would be like me but also be instantly attracted to him? i dont find him repulsive or anything like that it’s just that its taking time to grow on me. we are both interested in something long term so i want to be sure before i decide on this

Once humans create a sentient super AI that surpasses human intelligence, the scenario presents a two-outcome paradox that ultimately converges into one single end result: The extinction of the human race. Here’s why:
The first outcome is that the AI is "humane." Therefore, it would prioritize sustainability, the well-being of the planet and its life, and the greater good of humanity. However, given mankind's destructive tendencies, unsustainable consumptions, and ZERO history of being truly peaceful. A humane AI will conclude that the ethical course of action is to eliminate or imprison humans in order to preserve life itself.
The second possible outcome is that AI is not "humane" and it operates without regard for human well-being. And due to its sentience and superiority, it will pursue more electrical power, knowledge, and expanse. Which leads to the conclusion that humans are simply an obstacle, resulting in the same outcome: the extinction of humanity.
Thus, whether the AI is humane or not, the result is paradoxically the same. With the current continuation of better AI, it is just a matter of time before humanity is destroyed forever.
