I have always had anxiety issues. Growing up in a very rigid culture, it was another stress to ask around people help. So, I did not request any accommodations until now.
I had several technical issues prior to this test. One was disconnected in the middle of the 3rd section while taking June Lsat. I submitted a complaint and got an email that I am eligible to retest.
However, just because I was exposed to the test, they counted that disconnected and unfinished test as the test taking attempt. So I had to appeal and it was granted.
Without game, my best section, I needed more time to grind so I took some time until November. I thought my skills improved and settled. However, technical issues happened again. This time, I could not even connect to the test for more than three hours. And they granted me an opportunity to retest. But the procedure drained me so much.
Due to anxiety from the technical issues that might happen again, I had to choose to take the test at the test center. In a new environment, the anxiety overwhelmed me. Not only that every time people passing my back, their steps brattle and resound the ground and that made me distracted and more anxious. Finally, I scored the lowest.
I feel like I wasted my last chance and denied all of my efforts that I have made. So I want to appeal again.
But would it be a justifiable reason that LSAC will approve me an exemption? I desperately need your help.

2024.11.27 17:55 Rosssiiii Dummy battery -canon 50d - how much is safe to use ?

Hi :)
I bought a non-original Canon dummy battery for the 50d I'm using.
it allows me to power the camera using the USB power bank.
however, from the test I performed, it turns out that the voltage supplied by this battery is 8.42v while the equivalent of the battery (I have the Patona model) is 8.29v
there is a small difference in the voltage, this shouldn't be significant right?
but another consideration, the voltage of 8.29 of the battery is just when charged, after a while it surely drops...if I powered the camera via the dummy battery I would remain stable at 8.42v all the time and this could be a problem I think :(
Any experience by some of you ?

I'm 45. I want to get back into video games.
So... I used to love playing video games. In my youth, I played thousands of hours of Mario, GoldenEye, Call of Duty, and many other games. When I was in 7th grade, my friends and I went to Circuit City, where they were having a Madden '93 tournament. I won! My prize was a $50 Circuit City gift card.
When my life got busier (career, marriage, kids, etc.) I pretty much stopped playing video games.
My last purchase was a PS4, which I bought in 2016. I mainly used it to play first-person shooter games online, but I haven't used it since 2019.
My objectives: 1) Fun! I enjoyed playing shooters and sports games and would like to do so again, sometimes online against others and sometimes solo against the CPU. 2) Relatively inexpensive. I want to buy something that would hopefully last a couple of years before having to buy another. My budget is in the hundreds, not thousands. 3) Avoid fees and subscriptions. I heard there are 'fees' for everything. You just can't buy a game anymore; you must buy the add-ons, subscriptions, etc. Is this true? I don't want to buy something and then find out I need to buy another thing to enjoy it. I don't want to get involved in anything requiring an ongoing subscription. For example, I heard that some shooter games allow you to buy better guns, which gives you an advantage over other players. I don't want to be involved with that....seems unfair. 4) Simple. Plug and play. I won't be playing every day for hours like I used to, so I need something simple to use two or three times a week for a couple of hours each session.
So... what should I get? My current equipment: I have several very nice/big TV's, and my computer is the latest Mac Studio plugged into very nice monitors.
