Every time I give ChatGPT something to review, it will automatically rewrite it. This is frustrating in that (a) I don't want it to rewrite it, and (b) I have no idea what it changed off the original which is dangerous as it often makes mistakes.
I have the 4.o version and have had it memorize that it is only supposed to provide feedback and not automaticlly rewrite anything unless it is explicitly instructed to do so.
If I ask it "when I give you a report or email to review, what will you do" it responds that it will give bulleted feedback and is forbidden from automatically rewriting it.
And yet.. an hour later it will revert to form and rewrite, then apologize profusely when I point out it's not supposed to do that.
Beyond the obvious (specifying "do not rewrite this, just give me bulleted feedback") each time, is there something I can do to break it of this habit?

Hi guys. I’m cooking a curry with some chicken thighs, onion and curry paste I have today, and I just have a simple question.
I’m using a patak’s tikka masala paste, so do I cook the chicken and onions in a pot, then add the paste once they’re sufficiently cooked, or do I first warm the paste, then add the raw chicken and onions to the pot and let them simmer?

I decided to adopt a tiny, one eyed betta recently. She wasn’t doing well and I had a spare tank, so I thought why not.
I set up the tank for her two days ago and did a 90% water change yesterday (she is not in the tank yet and I did not start the cycle before I did this. I only did this because the water was cloudy from moving driftwood and plants around).
When I tested the water parameters after the water change, I was surprised to see 0.5 ppm ammonia and 1 ppm nitrites. I didn’t expect that after a big water change. I added stability and 5x the amount of prime. This morning the ammonia is at 0 ppm and nitrites are at 0.5 ppm. Nitrates were at 20 ppm yesterday and today.
I was thinking of doing another smaller WC this morning, adding stability, and the normal amount of prime before adding her into the tank. After that, I plan to continue adding stability daily and doing water changes as soon as ammonia and/or nitrites are detectable. Is this a good plan?

I’ve made posts on here before but my pwbpd found them and it nearly caused a breakup so I’m coming back on a new account..
My pwbpd (M) has gone through a lot recently, a surgery, and I’m doing all I can to best support him, which also means not seeing my family for the past 3 months.
He also had generated a greater emetaphobia and agoraphobia, meaning a lot of stress of his eating and basically going anywhere, which then means I can’t go out anywhere if fear I’ll “ bring something back” that could make him unwell.
I’ve been putting off and delaying my return to my parents for weeks and this weekend is my sisters birthday, and it’s finally the opportunity for me to spend time with family, I was unsure if he was invited (was indicated to me to be a v intimate family gathering), he was very upset at the idea of me going to it without him. I learnt today that wasn’t the case and he was always welcome to come, it didn’t change his mood and he’s now told me he’s “given up” on coming to visits my parents, which I know will lead to further context as he gets very upset and annoyed when I make plan that don’t include him.
I’ve been crying a lot more recently, I live with him and I’ve been feeling completely trapped, unable to speak to friends or family because when I did before, it caused a lot of conflict and he now dislikes a lot of the people in my life (I think he doesn’t trust them).
I finally managed to go for a meal with 2 friends a few weeks ago and saw them for the first time this year, and by the time I got home, he was sulking in bed as I had insinuated staying at my parents to avoid late night travel.
So I guess I’m coming here to ask..Any advice on how to approach him on basically living my own life and going places without him? I’ve done all the usuals of setting a time limit when I’m out and staying in basically constant contact with him, giving him as much warning of upcoming plans as possible and honestly, nothing is working.. and it feels like he’s growing resentment for more and more people in my life that want to see me. He is in dbt therapy twice a week and I’ve tried he as skillful as possible when having convos surrounding plans in my life.
If he reads this he’ll know it’s me instantly but I’m feeling incredibly alone atm and would really appreciate some help.

I bought a case from Amazon to "insulate" the printer, and I was planning on putting the hose connected to the ventilation of the case outside of the window, with my "normal" fan pointing to it. I know this may sound extremely stupid but, could this setup work? Hello, my wife and I live in Florida. Her great aunt (92) lives in San Diego. We were sending her a meal for Thanksgiving because her family out there is in the hospital. We just saw that the delivery hasn’t even shipped, and definitely won’t be there for her to have food.
