1) A/B testing new audiences. I was previously, and successfully, using decor based audiences (West Elm, Crate and Barrel, among others) against purchase 1% lookalike. I plan on expanding purchase 1% to 1% - 2% if/when this goes stale.
2) Testing new ad creative that exists in both the hero and challenger ad set. This is an absolute must so both hero and test and seeing which is having a positive effect in either hero or challenger campaign.
3) Understanding in a black/white basis, how the 2 ad sets perform against each other.
Conclusion Meta ads performance will never stay consistent over time, the frequency in both hero and challenger are at about 2 so it's not an indication that new creative is needed. Instead my assumption is the algorithm is failing with the current setup and I needed to get ahead of trying to get it work again through testing. In this case, I got lucky to get it to work in my first iteration of an A/B test -- that won't always be the case. You have to A/B test your way into success to understand how performance will change while keeping as many variables consistent as possible. The reason I changed my audience instead of testing new creative is because I didn't have a lot of creative available so I had to be resourceful.

I’ve asked my parents to watch our child for a full 26 hours. That does not include me working. I asked for 26 so that my travel time doesn’t cut into the 24 hour period. We find out the other lied about this or that while we were not together and we use it against each other. And that’s not fair, to either of us. We were mad and not together, so we acted in ways that would piss each other off as a way to say “fuck you”
Don’t try to say that that not what you do. Cause it is. And I do it too! So I’m not blaming you. I know I do it as well. It’s something that needs to stop between us…
What id really like to happen is we both sit down and reveal EVERYTHING. You have my phone, I have your phone, and we comb through it, with no restrictions. We find out everything. Every lie, every hidden truth, just everything. Then after that, we MOVE ON. We call it in the past, it doesn’t matter anymore. Going forward, we are together and we are back to being honest and loyal to each other. Yes we will be mad, no one is allowed to yell. Only thing allowed is questions, the answer idk can not be used. Most importantly, we can NOT hold it as a grudge against one another. We can’t say “it’s all good” but then a week later it’s back to “you did this…. I can’t trust you”
Is that a horrible thing to do? Yes. Yes it is, it’s going to severely pisses both of us off and hurt us both…. But if we actually do it and do it correctly…. It could also solve everything.
Anyway, that is how I feel we could fix things if done correctly. I’m still waiting on an answer from my parents, but I’ll let you know as soon as I know. I will be at your complete mercy for 24 hours.

2024.11.27 20:49 badatbeingfunny I finished my first playthrough around a week ago and I'm already knee deep in my second one
I won't spoil anything about the ending or stuff like that but holy cow is this games packed with stuff to do. My first run I was a netrunner with smart weapons and did most of my damage with quickhacks, switching to my guns when I ran out of ram or when it made more sense, and now I'm doing a sandivistan tech gunslinger playthrough and not only is there so much replay value in just the character build/playstyle side of things, but I'm also seeing and doing things I had no idea about on my first run, either because I'm paying more attention, because I missed a bunch of side gigs cause of how many there, or choosing different dialogue options
This honestly might be one of my favorite games of all time at this point, I know that the sheer number of gameplay hours isn't what defines how good a game is but I literally bought it over a year ago and I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface, and no matter how far I dig into this mountain of a game, the gameplay still remains just as fun if not more so.
Just felt like I'd make an appreciation post for the game because I truly believe it would have gone down in history as one of the greatest games of all time if it released in its current state.

Hey y'all. So basically I've been trying to manifest stuff and heal and have been coming across this pattern of resistance - negative/opposite results when I try to use affirmations to heal myself. Almost like my subconscious is trying to prove me wrong.
Now I started manifestation with the world of Youtube subliminals, and people seem to have this idea that the subconscious mind is this big scary hidden underworld inside of ourselves, we can't access it, and it's out here filled with limiting beliefs, manifesting based on the beliefs it formed from our life experiences. Basically as if it's in control, and if we program it the right way, we can manifest exactly what we want. Hence, the use of subliminals. It all feels very external locus of control - as if we're giving power to something outside of ourselves (though we tell ourselves the subconscious is inside, the way people talk about it feels like it's an external being).
But I realized what if the subconscious doesn't even exist in that sense? Scientifically, physically, as far as I've researched, the idea of a "subconscious" is true - your heartbeat, digestion, homeostasis (regular mundane maintenance of your body temperature, etc.) is taken care of "subconsciously". As in you are not thinking about exactly how many times to make your heart beat, you are not consciously controlling how and when your heart beats. It's taken care of automatically, subconsciously.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows what the subconscious is ACTUALLY. Because I think this whole idea that it is this big thing in the background that you can't really do anything about, just feed it stuff, but at the same time it's like a puppet master of your manifestations in that it gives you resistance based on its old beliefs - I do not like that idea (I don't really need to hear about how the idea of resistance is fake. That may be, but I want to hear about the idea of the "subconscious mind" as a whole).
