Hey all... I'm a single dad with a 20yo son who is high functioning (lv 1) autistic. He's been moved around in a company which accommodates kids like him and has been there a couple years. Though he's comfortable there, I know he's capable of much more, as he's nearly savant-like when involved with gaming and what surrounds it.
I asked him what his dream job would be, and he said to test/QA, design, or code games. I'm sure this is an extremely popular career for many people of his generation to wish for, but I'm trying to help him follow that path in whatever way I possibly can.
Do you have recommendations for classes, schools, training, or absolutely anything that would be able to keep his attention and be even remotely accredited when obtaining an entry level remote position in the gaming industry?
FYA, the "remote" preference is due to us living in a very rural area, and he's unable to drive or live on his own away from home (He's level 1 autistic, but has almost leveled up to 2 😉).

I’m visiting out of town for like 5 days. My Syrian is in a 20 gallon travel cage.
I packed plenty of food for him but while putting him in the car I forgot all about it and forgot it. Before I left I put about 2 tablespoons in. With tomorrow being thanksgiving I don’t think I’ll be able to go even if they’re open. What should I do until then? The only fruit I really have is apples.

Hey all. So I recently started playing Pokemon Reborn because it saw it being praised as a good pokemon fangame. I gotta say, so far I'm enjoying my time. The sprites for the gen 6 and 7 are really nice, and I love the new shinies. The ability to customize your difficulty so much is also really cool and appreciated as someone who isn't really into the more competitive side of Pokemon and is just playing this game for the story and cool art.
BUT I just got to the point of the story where Corey jumps off a bridge and Fern comes and starts talking about "Natural Selection" and whatnot. I get that Fern is supposed to be incredibly unlikeable but I feel like this came out of left field and I find it... idk... borderline offensive and out of touch.
I read that Corey is based off of someone that actually did take their life this way, and maybe it's a way for the developers to grieve but it just felt a little tone-deaf, especially as someone who has close friends who have come close to taking their own lives.
I just wanna know... does this get any better as the game progresses? Because as it stands, that scene and dialogue alone makes me wanna stop playing for fear that it's only gonna get worse.

I play on Xbox (Series X), I bought the game when it first came out and for the 4th game in a row, after leaving Commoragh usually within a few minutes the saves corrupt and the game will constantly get stuck on the loading screen. I've hard reset the Box, unplugged from power, the only fix seems to be deleted the saved files.
I bought the game when it first came out had it happen three times. I went onto play other games and just came back to it a few weeks ago, hoping some patches might have corrected it, seemed fine.. until I leave Commoragh and then within about another 30-60 minutes of game play it locks on the loading screen. Loading the saved, both auto and manual saved games have the same results.
Sorry.. just really frustrated. I have not gotten the new DLC.
