Hi everyone,
I’ve been dealing with an ongoing issue with my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro (AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti), and I’d really appreciate some guidance. Here's the full context:
It’s detected by the system, showing refresh rate options for 60Hz and 240Hz.
All output is currently visible only on an external monitor connected via HDMI.
The laptop boots into Windows without issue, but I can’t access the BIOS.
The BIOS doesn’t display on the external monitor, so I have no way of knowing if I’m in the BIOS or not.
I’ve tried the usual boot key combinations (F2, F12, Delete, Fn + keys, etc.), but nothing appears.
I replaced the original screen (which stopped working altogether) with a new panel (NE160QDM-NM4), intended as an upgrade. The new screen is detected but remains dark.
I’ve inspected the eDP cable connection to the motherboard and screen. The cable appears intact, but I can’t rule out that it’s causing the issue.
Drivers for both NVIDIA and AMD graphics were updated using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and clean installs.
I’ve removed and reinstalled the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS.
Disabled Fast Boot in Windows to allow a full POST (Power-On Self-Test).
Used Advanced Startup in Windows to boot into UEFI Firmware Settings, but the external monitor still doesn’t display anything.
The original screen randomly stopped working one day, and troubleshooting it led to no improvements. That’s why I replaced it with the new panel.
Before the replacement, the original panel briefly displayed at a low resolution (1024x768 at 144Hz), far below its native specs.
My ultimate goal is to get the internal screen working again, but the inability to access the BIOS is a significant roadblock.

Olá. Estou praticando, como o título diz, e já fiz alguns projetos menores. Como clones de Mario, Space Invaders e Flappy Bird. Sabe, o arroz com feijão de qualquer programador de jogos.
Enquanto ainda não me sinto pronto para avançar e criar um projeto grande e singular, quero tentar algo novo que não ultrapasse meus limites. Além dos exemplos citados, algo que posso citar que é similar é Pacman. Sim, já procurei no Google, mas não tive resultados que me agradaram, portanto imagino que uma recomendação mais pessoal possa trazer algo interessante.
É simples como o título diz. A minha única preferência é que sejam antigos/retrô, e em 2D. Muito obrigado pela atenção.
