2024.11.28 16:30 rawrmod11 Will Spectrum install a coax outlet?
 | So, I live in a duplex and have DSL internet through AT&T but it only reaches 50mbps download speed. Spectrum offers much faster speeds but I'm not getting rid of my current AT&T plan. I want to have both. So, how do I go about this? I only have one "internet outlet" but 1/2 of the ports is occupied with a AT&T DSL cable. Will Spectrum drill a new "internet outlet" into the wall or will I have to end my AT&T service? I read that Spectrum uses coaxial and not DSL. The guy Iāve been talking to now for 5 months, who is 25M, had invited me to a pre thanksgiving party he was having at his apartment with a couple other coworkers of his I knew. We were all drinking and playing games. He wasnāt interacting with me, itās like I wasnāt even there. So, I pulled him aside very respectfully and I told him that I didnāt feel appreciated. This also comes from previous interactions that was building up just by being with him. I mentioned that we didnāt go on dates, he didnāt spend genuine time with me. I told him I felt like a booty call. Because he would only text me when he wanted me to spend the night and I told him that I felt like he didnāt respect me at all. I wasnāt yelling at him, I wasnāt being disrespectful. I vented to him about how I was truly feeling. And he was already cross faded. He either listened to me or just heard me talking and told me he was calling security. And I kept asking him why. Why do you treat me like this? Iāve done nothing wrong to this guy but be positive and supportive and he told me straight up, ā Iām not changing my ways for you. I donāt care what you do for me but Iām not changing for you if you donāt like how I am ā. And security came I took my stuff and left in the middle of the party he was having. He told security to never let me back inside. My phone was dead and I needed to charge it because I had work the next day. Am I wrong for venting to him in a polite manner and he refused to listen? Instead he removed me from his home and left me outside in the middle of the night. He literally called his apartment building security on me. I was surprised he even did that. I did nothing wrong, I wasnāt yelling or being violent. I was outside for hours asking for help to get back to my place in a city Iām not familiar with. So I need someone to talk to, I need guidance please help.
