Hi there! I was thinking about learning a language that is very far away from the languages I know and wondered if it would be easier to only learn by listening and maybe speaking. Especially other writing systems can be tough and There are languages I'm interested in without the wish to read and write with them.
On the other hand, I would guess it could be more difficult to understand the grammar of said languages.
What is your experience and/or advice?

I know Bluesky is open source, meaning a buyout like what happened to Twitter will be not as easy. So I'm then left wondering if the success of Bluesky will lead to jealous billionaires (namely Zuckerberg and Musk) trying to get the platform shut down, and if so, how can people fight back against that?

Hi guys I have about 1.5k hours into this game over 3 k spent prolly and peaked immo 2 and now just feel like riot hates me I think I should take a break from Val and play other games that feel more rewarding then Val. And it just feels like at the end of every episode that riot genuinely hates u and never wants to help u rank up like I had a guy playing placement games in ascdent to immo he went 1 and 16 btw and I am slowly losing my passion for the game so should I just quit or take a break

Gunna be getting a new set of Summer tyres for my C Class Estate, 1510 kg / 272 PS / 350 Nm. (I’ll have a separate set of winter tyres).
Currently has Conti Sport Contact 5 all round, they’re great. I’ve previously had Michelin Pilot Sports, also great.
Before I pull the trigger on a set of one of these (they’re a similar price), is there anything else in the same ball park worth considering?

 | I have been consistently documenting each and every texture layer only error for future reference, and now I finally own one myself. I purchased it not knowing for certain if the characters would be fully visible but I’m very pleased to say I can make out each and every one of them. Texture layer only errors are believed to be from a test sheet that was erroneously cut up and inserted into packs. However, some of them, like Irida with her red horn headband, do have ink on them suggesting they went through the printing press and received ink leftover on the rollers. I’m still hoping to own a texture layer only Leafeon Vstar, Glaceon Vstar, or Deoxys Vmax some day. The Leafeon and Deoxys are a couple of my favorite card arts of all time and would be spectacular to have with the error. Has anyone ever torn a shoulder ligament before? Not rotator cuff.
I saw a physio today after having twinges in the shoulder and he identified it as a minor tear in the ligament. He did some massaging on it and it feels fine now but advised I would need more sessions to heal it, and consecutive sessions I.e. one a week for a few weeks would speed up the recovery time. Trouble is, all his session hours are during work hours so I can't really go to any consecutively like he advises.
He said for recovery, blood flow needs to be increased to the muscle which can be difficult with it being a ligament.
He's given me some exercises to do but I'm wondering if anyone knows if I'm able to massage it myself and/or anything else that can increase blood flow to the area so I can get this healed as quickly as possible?

Usually shows get worse when major characters leave, but sometimes the exit of a character is exactly what is needed to improve the overall quality of the show. Not necessarily the case that the character was bad or unpopular... just that, for whatever reason, the show became better after they left (or at least got demoted from "series regular" to "guest"). A few examples:
- X-Men: The Animated Series = Morph
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine = Gina Linetti
- Supergirl = Jimmy Olsen
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer = Angel (controversial one!)

I want to build a catio for my cats, who are former ferals (not strays) who lived in my backyard. Some of the other ferals they knew still hang out in my backyard sometimes. Could this be a problem for a catio? Will a catio giving my cats access to a fraction of their old territory, which now smells like other cats, stress them out? Will it stress them out to interact through the catio with some of the same cats they used to compete with for resources?
They don’t seem to get stressed when staring out the windows (glass only, no screens) but that seems much different than being physically outside again.
