Was he just unable to recruit the level of talent needed to compete with Georgia and a rising Clemson (which makes no sense in my opinion, your predecessor leads the program to multiple 11 win seasons with victories over top ranked opponents and multiple season finishes in the top 10 and you still can’t attract similar consistent levels of talent as the Clowney/Ingram/Lattimore era Gamecocks?) with the exception of the occasional Deebo Samuel here and there? Or was he able to actually attract some pretty good talent across the board that could have allowed us to stay competitive with Clemson and Georgia (and still overall have all around winning seasons on a similar level of Spurrier) but he was just such an incompetent head coach that we ended sucking regardless?

After years of meditation practice, I spent the last week meditating for several hours every day, at 1h+ duration at a time.
After several days,.my awareness had grown more than it ever have been before. And I suddenly was able to observe my conscious mind continuously, in a way where I could clearly see every single thought as it came and went. I could see everything each though contained, of feelings, opinions and identity. I saw them before they even "unpacked" and began influence my experience in the moment. And from that, I have become able to keep my conscious mind still at will. I can choose to let a though do its thing or not. And when I keep my mind clear like this, I automatically am connected to my breathing and physical sensory inputs, because there is no conscious thought pulling my attention away. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Also I can feel a pressure in my forehead and it seems my prefrontal cortex is stimulated too. In this new awareness I also realized that I am not my conscious mind and that those thoughts were not me. These thoughts have always been the foundation of my personality and experience so far in my life. Not so much anymore.
Anyway, what I am now experiencing is a form of melancholy. Especially when I consciously observe my mind and keep it relaxed and still, that melancholy is felt in my chest. I am surprised, because no conscious thoughts or external events are triggering this. It's just a constant state of being. I know it comes from within. But not the conscious mind at least. Where does it come from? How is it happening?

I think it's relevant to start by clarifying I'm diagnosed with ADHD and lvl1 Autism. I live with my parents and had a pet bunny for 5.5 years, who passed 2 nights ago. He was my first pet, and my mom and I kinda co-owned him where she did most of the work and I hung-out with him the most (I used to do more of the work but when my mental health went down a few years ago, she took over), which led to her also becoming as attached to him as me.
When my bunny's GI stasis had us going to the vet every few months, she would cry whenever we went, while I never really even felt worried; even if it was something that SHOULD have made me feel worried (which I'm told might be the Autism? I'm still new to this lol). The day after he passed was really hard, I cried basically the entire day, but I've always been the kind of person who cries once and then either represses it, or moves on/accepts it. It's hard for me to tell which case this is.
I've wanted a cat for a few years, and made the mistake of going online yesterday and looking at adoption websites to cope with what happened to my bunny. Of course, I saw about 3 different cats that I really really liked. On one hand, I know I've been wanting a cat for a long while and it isn't purely an impulse choice I want to make, but on the other hand, I'm worried I'm just trying to subconsciously cope with the loss of my boy. I'm also worried if I mention the idea to my mom, she's also going to think I never loved my bunny and just saw his passing as an opportunity to "finally get my dream pet." I believe I could articulate that that's not what this is to her, but I'm more concerned about my own well-being here because the last thing I want is to accidentally make the cat I've been wanting for years, just a replacement pet or something. On the other hand, I also know having the company of a new pet might make me feel better and less alone after what happened, so I'd like any opinions on what to do.

 | 2016 GTI. Heard about clutch problems with these cars and recently installed a Sachs performance clutch kit including the new TOB. After about 1500 miles the clutch pedal got stuck to the floor. Not sure what caused this but I clearly have a bad TOB and warped pressure plate teeth now.
