I’ll be mostly using the cameras for photography (cars/motorsports) but will likely try to learn videography with them as well.

I had a successful run of contract work and coupled with saving during COVID, managed to save a decent chunk of money. I have a HYSA and have just been living off it for most of the past year. I could continue to stretch this for around 5 years if I continue to be frugal.
I've hit a point where I'm really no longer interested in working, and It's not depression - just a greater realization of how valuable my time is. I've considered ditching 'laptop life' for retail work or starting a business of my own. However, retail means far less money, and starting a business means more time on the laptop. Any work option I pursue feels like a big sacrifice.
When I was younger I had no savings and was working to survive, along with that naive sense that I was going to move up. And I did. But I never made the leap to management and still don't want to. So I'm left with very little to motivate me to work aside from 1) it passes the time and 2) saving more money. Obviously it just doesn't hit the same.
If you've gone through a similar thing, how do you deal with this and what do you recommend?

I'm honestly really struggling mentally since my herniated L5-S1 disc diagnosis. Long story short: 32F, almost two weeks ago I had what I thought was a typical sciatica flare up for me and after a week of crying and debilitating pain leading to urgent care with X-rays, PCP visit with STAT MRI ordered followed immediately by a meeting with a neurosurgeon, got my diagnosis.
I've never experienced this level of pain before so consistently and without relief. I've never been so incapable of taking care of myself and my home and can barely function enough to work. I just spent 30 minutes crying because I couldn't reach into my washer to transfer the laundry. I'm beyond lucky to have a partner that is willing to do so many extra things right now but it's so fucking hard and upsetting to be reliant on him for everything. He comes home from work and immediately has to do double the work because I can't bend at all and due to the impact of the herniation on my nerve, I can't really walk well either (can't take normal steps with right leg, just kind of have to take baby shuffling steps).
It's miserable and I haven't had enough progress towards feeling better to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just kind of try to zombie my way through the day and anything I discover I can't do just sets me off crying again. My elderly cat gets sick often and this morning she threw up all over the house and I had to crawl around dragging a computer chair with cleaning supplies to each spot to clean it up. It's so depressing.
I am taking ibuprofen and robaxin to manage the pain and scheduled with physical therapy but they couldn't get me in til December 23rd. I feel lost because I don't know what I should be doing as far as movement goes to make any progress before then or to alleviate pain. I don't want to just sit and wait for the appointment and suffer for the next four weeks if I could be feeling better than I am right now.
This shit is so disheartening. Thanks to anyone that took the time to read this. I'm trying really hard to not just be a ghoul wandering around my house crying and wallowing in self-pity. My partner doesn't deserve me being a pit of negativity but I don't know how to pull myself out of it.

Hi, I'm from EU and I've been away from League for many years and recently came back (around a month ago). My current rank is Emerald 1 and I play mid. I'm wondering if there's people interested in playing League with a team. My idea is, I wanna play with a team once or twice a week, review our games and practice to improve (this way it's also not a huge time investment since it will last only for a few hours per week). Unfortunately most people don't take flex seriously, but there is no alternative way to play 5v5 (except for Clash but that's once in a while). Playing as 5 has always been my favourite part of League, and I'm obviously not good enough to go pro. Solo Q is fun, but playing only solo Q is kind of miserable for me, since losing a game cause of someone griefing/trolling tilts me hard, but using it as practice to then transition to playing for my team would be more productive I think. Title pretty much says it all but I just ordered some zapotecorum spores today and am wondering how to approach fruiting. From what I have researched on my own it seems that they can be treated as cubensis until fruiting conditions, and that they like it wet and to stay wet, not dry out at all.
