I outright refuse to be a victim any longer, but I also refuse to ignore how much suffering I endure and know that almost nobody can relate to me. I'm an Irishman by birth and by living, but I don't consider myself Irish, nor a member of this barely functional society. I put on a positive, joyous visage to compensate for the deadness I carry daily.
Autism, check. Cringe, Irish, twenty eight and no real accomplishments, check. A lifetime of lovelessness and loneliness, check. No friends to speak of spare the one who probably hates me, check. Pathetic enough to post about this on a loneliness subreddit, check. Cringe enough to just gym away my problems, check.
My life's gotten better, so much better, but it still doesn't completely assuage this fucking pain man. I really do just hate how I feel like an alien...

I’ve been trying to find this book for a while. I used to own it but I got rid of it because ai had DNFed it. I don’t remember too much about it but I’ve googled pretty much every summary combination i could think of and can’t find the name.
It’s about a brother and a sister but it’s in the perspective of the brother.
There’s something about a magical tree or magical plants. The women tend and take care of them but they can only do it when they come of age (get their period). A ritual has to be done with the plats/tree and I’m almost pretty positive it has something to do with their periods. But it’s only mentioned and not explained.
There seems to be some incestual undertones (i think the brother is in love with his older sister?).
At some point they get taken from their home and sold into slavery but i don’t have much details on that because I had DNFed it before that happened.
It’s a modern book. I don’t know what genre but i assume teen/ young adult. If I remember correctly, the cover was purple with flowers and the silhouette of a girl?
Please help me remember the name.

I started nuzlocking inclement emerald a couple weeks ago, i’m 5 attempts in and the farthest I’ve made it is Mt. Chimney. Currently I am running Torchic as a starter and Cyndaquil from game corner for Wattson. I would really appreciate any advice or help that is useful for this game! I absolutely love the QoL and difficulty of the game but I hate being stuck in early game

This is just a reminder that plateaus are normal and almost everyone has hit one, if not several of them. I plateaued multiple times on my way to scoring a 175+. Don't beat yourself up over it. Keep working at it and don't let a plateau ruin your spirit. Just because your score is plateauing does not mean your abilities are. Sometimes your score lags a bit behind your ability.
