Needs: Open 7 Chrome tabs and play Genshin + Valorant at the same time.
My current computer configuration:

Currently, the store near me has a few options as follows:
  1. 12400f tray ~ $86
  2. Ryzen 5 5600 fullbox ~ $110
  3. i5 12600kf tray ~ $150
  4. Ryzen 5 5700x3d ~ $165
  5. i5 14600kf tray ~ $190
I'm leaning towards the Ryzen 5 5600, but I'm worried that this chip may not be powerful enough to meet my current needs. Therefore, I have two questions:
  1. Should I stretch my budget to go for options 3, 4, or 5? If so, which chip should I choose?
  2. I'm concerned that if I choose a higher-end chip ( 3-4-5), my power supply may not be sufficient (I plan to upgrade to a 3070 or 4060ti in the near future).
P.S.: Is it true that if I play Valorant, I should choose an AMD chip because it provides higher FPS? If the FPS is higher, is there a significant difference between 1080p and 2K resolution?

Had a chance to play it on Xbox with game pass and it accidentally was pretty fun. It's gonna tkevtimevto learn how to fly the ship but the regular combat is pretty neat. I have the game on steam but my graphics card is shot and can't handle the game. It may not be for everyone but 6 year old me is all giddy inside.
