Hello, A week ago, I started playing Chivalry 2 rather sporadically, and at the moment, I'm at level 70. I'm really enjoying the game, but it gets frustrating at times when I can have a great match one moment and then end up with stats like 11-20 the next. I understand ripostes and counters, as well as footwork, but I haven’t fully figured out how to use them effectively yet. From what I can see, I have trouble with alt-attacks because I don’t know the best times to use them. The same goes for baiting hits or dealing with someone who drags their attacks—I struggle to get the timing right.I also try to avoid fighting 1vX situations, keep an eye on my team, and look for ways to take advantage of that.
I want to understand the game mechanics better, so I’m trying to ask more experienced players what I could do to improve and how to approach it, whether on duels, regular servers, or even through YouTubers. I’d be grateful for any advice. Have a great day!

2024.11.30 07:30 Cmdm828 Astro A50 Gen 2 (no sound) on XSX
I have the gen 2 PS4 Edition. They work on the PS4 and XB1, but not the newer comsoles. Since theirs no optical, I plugged it into the TV, which should automatically give me audio for the tv itself...right? I have a 4k Samsung and I just unplugged the optical that is used for the sound bar and connected it to the A50 Base. No matter what I do....no sound. I tried resetting the Headset and it always connects, but issue isn't resolved. Same with firware, although that was a bitch because for some reason this is one of the headsets Astro doesnt list on its APP, so I had to do a workaround I found on here to do it.The base of the headset is 8 yrs old BUT the headset itself is only 3 because I bought a new one for cheap on clearance that came without the base...and everything works fine and dandy on old gen. Am I missing anything?

This is a break up rant, but my main point is: for some females out there, don't be naive around your male 'friends' when you're in a relationship.
I (M24) just broke up with my (F24) fiance a week ago. Actually, she dumped me for percieved insecurities. For my first serious relationship, I made many mistakes like not communicating my boundaries and standing up for myself, and importantly, overlooking red flags, and it took these faults to lead to the relationship's downfall. But I want to focus on where my insecurities stemmed from.
My fiance and I had been together for 5 years and got engaged in the last 6 months. We made a great team, but I won't go into the details. She was a bit of a tomboy, and all her friends since high school and before we met are male. She had a few female friends but she'd 'outgrown' them. Strangely, the male friends could do no wrong. I'm realising now that she had daddy issues.
Since the start of the relationship, many of her male friends had picked up on us getting pretty serious. Almost all of them immediately started to flirt with her. She'd tell them to stop, empathise with them, forgive them and then continue like nothing happened. When they continued, I'd get mad and she'd say "it's their problems, you should trust me." I trusted her, so I said alright. But I failed to tell her that her strange lack of respect for our relationship, being tossed around by her male friends who "had known her better and longer than I did," bothered me. My bad. There was one particular male friend - her best friend. He was not only open about his feelings about her and would flirt and such, but he was really good at making her happy, so she got real good looking past his faults. A month after we got engaged, he got really bold, and started trying to kiss her and touch her, and would tell her about his sexual fantasies. I got mad. She said I needed to mind my own busines and that I should be supportive of a friend that makes her laugh so much. This is where her emotional cheating started.
She started spending from 6pm to 1am at his house playing video games and hanging out, forgetting to text me back or anyone else. Her parents and her sister started getting mad about her behaviour towards me too. She'd start going to the gym with him and taking each other on beach walks. She wouldn't stop talking about how great he was. I was getting more and more insecure and desperate. Eventually, she snapped and said my behaviour was unattractive and she no longer had feelings for me, and felt a lot safer and happier around him. Fast forward to a week ago, she made us end the relationship as we were a wreck. Three days later, she tells me she slept with him after he asked her for sex and she felt that she could use the 'physical' support, and she'd feel guilty not telling me. I blow up and said, among other things, 'how on Earth do you think that was respectful or appropriate!?' She replies: 'it's just physical, not emotional. Grow up.' She refused to admit to emotional cheating or doing anything wrong, claims I'm being controlling. I said 'how am I controlling when I'm only now telling you to get away from him.' I tell her to fuck right off and we haven't spoken since. Her sister and parents are in shock over her behaviour and agree that she doesn't know what's appropriate with male friends.
Here are some additional huge red flags I missed that will leave you shook:
This same best friend has been her best friend since they were 12. In high school, he was dating other girls and kinda leading her on a bit. (This is her information right before break up) One time he asked her for nudes, and she happily gave them because she wanted to make him happy but also didn't feel like they needed a relationship for that. After she told me that, I lost it and said how 'you thought that was a normal friendship!? and you kept him around, texting him daily, for our whole 5 years together and you saw nothing wrong with that!' She thought I was the crazy one.
The day she turned 18, a male friend she knew through a job who was 25 at the time, said he wanted her. This was a year before we met. She seriously considered it but didn't want long-distance as she was leaving for university in a few months. I told her that he was basically a pedophile, but she wasn't having that. Since then, she has maintained contact with him for the 5 years we were together.
3 years into our relationship, one of her male friends from high school reaches out to her to get a life update. She tells him about our relationship. A few hours later, he asks for her nudes. She tells him he's disgusting, forgives him, and then continues talking to him while I'm telling her how wrong that is.
Ultimately, I take huge responsibility for even getting engaged. This was my first serious relationship so I was naive too. Our relationship was honestly amazing in every other way except this. I also didn't know emotional cheating was a thing, so I fell for the narrative that if your girlfriend doesn't cheat on you, then you have no reason to break up with her.
