Hi everyone,
Haven’t posted about this before, but here it goes. Since February this year I have been hosting this pub/beer nights once a month to hang out.
It started because of slowdown, but grew into a smaller event for people to get together, talk cameras, talk about other stuff, and just socialise.
I always do these on Thursdays, and so far turnout has been better on the east side (of Los Angeles).
Planning to have the next one happen on the 13th of December, more details to follow, but would love to see people there.
Usually the IG account “AC friends” tend to post more about it as well.

I (M16) have a friend (F16- will refer to as Friend A) and we talk all the time, we're very close. We're also a part of a close knit trio (of whom, the other friend is also (F16- will refer to as Friend B). We create Youtube videos together as we're a group of singers and voice actors. This is how we met, and why we are all so close.
Recently, I notice Friend A has been acting a little different. Not in a bad way, but I notice she acts a bit differently towards me compared to other people.
For example:
- Frequently talking about moving out and living together (we are both from abusive households)
- Calling me her husband
- Tries to one up Friend B (can't tell if it's in a joking manner or not)
- Complimenting me a lot (for reference, she's usually a bit stand-offish; I think that's the right word)
- Asking me out jokingly (? I don't know anymore. LOL)
- Gets seemingly jealous when Friend B talks to me a lot
- Asked to cover a very romantic song together (just the two of us, no Friend B- this is the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iEydWNpbQ4 )
- Draws my persona little cute doodles very often (I haven't seen her do that for anyone else)
Her relationship with Friend B is a little strange admittedly. They are exes, but are now on good terms (?- they seem to fight often, but I don't pry as to why) because I had no idea at the time and invited them into a group together. Unsure if this may help in anyway, apologies.
I have thought of myself as aro-ace for a very long time, and I have difficulty with social queues and settings. This is my very first group of friends, and I love them both dearly. I hope this doesn't sound too ridiculous, and I really hope I am not misinterpreting these behaviors... I have 0 concept of romance. The best I can do is probably anime and novels (lol). Am I reading too far into this?? Is she just being nice? I really don't know anymore, but any help is appreciated!

Im three weeks PP and I had a horrible pregnancy, I had severe hyperemesis graviderum. To the point I was throwing up 60 times a day, dropped to like 87 pounds at one point, hospitalized for almost ten days multiple times. It was brutal. But for some reason i miss pregnancy more than anything. People actually treated me like a human and showed compassion and empathy. I miss feeling my daughter’s kicks in my belly, and looking at what size she was this week on pregnancy apps. I miss it all. I cry at night about this daily. I miss my baby bump aswell. I’m back to my pre pregnancy size and while most people would jump for joy at that It just feels like I was never even pregnant and that part of me is gone. I love my baby girl so much and I love the newborn phase more than anything! it’s great. I just miss being pregnant too. I enjoyed posting on this thread for advice and updating you guys, now it feels that has come to an end. I’m so sad. I never thought i’d miss pregnancy.
With hyperemesis aswell it feels like my choice of getting pregnant again has been taken from me. I don’t know if I can again. I almost died three times during my pregnancy.

I'm not sure what this would be considered (packet loss maybe?), but I've had this problem for a few months now and it makes playing counter strike/valorant (happens in both games) impossible. I assume it isn't ping related/specs related, but I have no idea (in this clip I had 3 ping, generally have below 10 ms in cs2 and valorant on my servers). Please let me know if you have any idea how I can fix this. Thanks.

I think lauren is going to be recruited as ph's replacement then to kill him and ph might be promoted to be part of the iu with march gone and dead so oooo they're now living each other's/ the same life. then when lauren's gotta kill kieran with the leader conveniently watching idk she'll push kieran over a bridge with the guise that they're meeting up as usual and jump off the bridge with him, do a quick spin midair and shoot the leader who was looking over the bridge. and then the two survive the fall into water and ps is taken down somehow just w/ the leader dead and then kieran and lauren get married yippeeeeeeeee (please let there be a happy ending istg I don't want another tragedy idc if they're popular these days (la la land and the rise in popularity of sad foreign films among 'mericans) PLEASE LET THERE BE A HAPPY ENDINGGGG AAAAAAAA

To this day we still don’t understand how the Terrians managed to survive as long as they have. But ever since they came to the galactic stage, fire has been associated with them ever since. Fire, an exothermic chemical reaction so rare and hazardous that not too many get to see it on a regular basis. But not on earth, they will causally start a fire because they feel like it!
First we thought it must have been a fluke of our scanners when their first ship had an atmosphere that comprised of about one fifth primitive rocket fuel reactant. We scrambled and emergency response when another ship confirmed the reading. “That poor, primitive race just had a catastrophe on a galactic scale!” we thought as we approached the ship. But no, they were fine. That was what they breathed. Terrians… they quickly became known as “rocket fuel breathers” after that. All communications with them had to by over distance with the Terrians still in their ships. All because of the safety risks of having a rocket fuel atmosphere ship. I mean, it’s only two steps away from being a bomb with a hyperdrive!
Some of us tried voicing that maybe treating them like walking bombs wasn’t the best diplomat approach. And well, I was there on that fateful day when the Terrians had enough. Them docking and entering our spaces was still in its infancy, and I was glad to have been one of the few of mine kind to have exchanged glad and peace gestures face to face with them. But this one time they came, it was different…
They spared me, but how they to me still haunts me. I was in the control room when they pulled weapons and the lockdown was initiated. Unfortunately at this level, only our military could undo a lockdown triggered by hostile force. I tried stop what I could through the intercom, and it seemed to help a little when one of their soldiers recognized my voice, but they still wanted to get into the control room.
“Stand back from the door, this won’t work here like it does on earth.” I still remember one of them saying. Though heavy, heat treated steel was hard to beat in terms of availability for doors you don’t want broken down. Pretty hard to cut as well, you’d need a ridiculous power source if you wanted to try to use a laser or plasma. One that would be hard to accommodate in the tight quarters of the station that I was on. But no, they used one jokingly called a “blue wrench”. I don’t know why they call it a wrench, as it had a flame on the end. Though it seemed like the operator of that “blue wrench“ was a very adamant that everybody else should not be anywhere close to him. I was confused as to why, until some point in his process of applying heat to a small part of the door.
He slightly squeezed the handle, and a large jet of flames burst out from it. I was scared from the video footage, the other soldiers were scared, meanwhile, the person who was using it was just chuckling. “They don’t do this on earth!“ he apparently said. But while he was chuckling at his own joke, I was horrified at the realization at what they were using. Rocket fuel. Those Terrians don’t care, they’re obsessed with it! But several moments later I saw why, as somehow the flame had managed to gouge hole deep enough that it was now burning into the control room.
Luckily, I was able to dawn a spare respirator, so I wasn’t affected by the alarming drop of breathable air. A horizontal pillar of fire emanating from the door, as it was effortlessly cutting through it. It was definitely slower than if plasma was used, but very shocking considering that this didn’t utilize any power. Just rocket fuel from what I could see.
Even though I was held hostage, they were still really nice to me. The one who cut through the door, gave me an apology for scaring the daylights out of me. As he put it himself, the tool he used had never done that before. Only in this atmosphere, would he create such a large flame. He explained that normally the rocket fuel is just preheated, and then reacts with the iron to burn and melt it, and the jet pressurized rocket fuel just blows it out. Of course, I’m still digesting the knowledge that under the right circumstances, a jet of gaseous rocket fuel will just cut through metal.
If it wasn’t for the video footage that was saved, many would not have believed me. And yet here I am, trying to warn as many as I can that maybe it’s not idea to provoke the ones who breathe the rocket fuel.

Hi, I really need advice on this. Please help me.
I recently graduated and joined my job, moving to a new city, I didn't know anyone.
I decided to share flat with a guy in a 2 bhk flat who is living alone here, I pay rent to the my flatmate and he is the one who pays the rent to the owner. He was living here before and has furniture in the house, so we decided on this arrangement. He has contact with the owner and has an agreement with him. I don't have an agreement with anyone here.
While sharing flat/moving in, I asked him that I'll need owner's documents to file in taxes for return. He agreed at that time but now when I asked him for documents, he is refusing to give me any (claiming that he does not have owner's details as well). He is a CA.
Mostly I think he wants to show that he's paying all the rent to the owner and wants to take the tax exemption.
The total rent paid by me is around close to less than 1.5 lakh rupees.
I am stuck here as I chose the old tax regime considering he will give me the documents. I don't know what to do at this point. Can someone please help me?
This would be the first time I'll be filing for taxes as well and I didn't know someone could do something like this. Please help me if there is some way out of this.

I'm receiving a sh*t load of spam on my contact form. I don't understand what’s funny about this and why someone would invest time and resources into this.
The form can be found here (You can try to spam it, though that shouldn't be possible!).
What I did to prevent people from spamming?
- Added CSRF token to the form (this is a Django Form thingy, resource).
- Added a rate limiter of 1 POST request per Hour on that endpoint for each 'IP' address (we cache the IP address on our side).
- Added a 'honeypot' input field, which is a non-displayed field in the UI, but visible in the HTML Elements, a bot could try to fill this in. If it does so, we add a timeout of 1 hour to the request sessions which we will validate on the Server.
- Added a (ugly for now) Captcha field, will do some styling later.
Any tips/advice?
