I just tried to intermittent cath a 14 French standing up, but after 1/3 the way in, I felt resistance, and a pain, I kept trying to go, but no avail. I was not going to keep forcing it so I pulled it back out, I also noticed blood ( just a little) in the tube
1 is the blood after normal? Or should I be worried 2, any advice to help me get through to the bladder, I’m honestly not sure what went wrong, at first the resistance didn’t hurt, I just couldn’t get anymore in, and I was sure I was gripping the sleeve hard enough to have a good grip, after pulling back a little and going forward again, same thing, resistance but pain so I just stopped completely, since I know not to force anything. Any advice ?

Finally found my Ann Stokes' Gothic Tarot deck tonight! Was looking through it, comparing it to my 1JJ Swiss. (They seem to both be based on Marseilles, but I don't have a straight Marseilles deck yet.)
The Gothic Tarot is a more artistic deck, but for the most part, I get the imagery it was going for: Vampires for Cups, Dragons for Wands, etc.. The only thing I don't get are the skulls and skeletons that go with the pentacle/coin suit. Can anyone explain this? Thanks!

2024.12.01 04:58 CazOnReddit With the Bulls open to trading away their main players, what would make the most sense destination-wise for Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, Patrick Williams, Lonzo Ball, etc.?
By now you've probably read the recent report that the Chicago Bulls are open for business and looking to trade away their major players, largely to cut salary but also to secure their pick that was traded to acquire DeMar DeRozan way back in 2021 (It's Top 10 protected this year and then Top 8 in 2026 & 27).
The Bulls might be a year or too late to nuking their old core from orbit but at the very least they're finally gearing up for another rebuild. The question is, where exactly do their best/most expensive players best fit?
Zach LaVine
The contract is still massive but with LaVine playing games once again, everyone has been reminded that Zach is still able to get buckets. 22 points on 51/42/83 is nothing to sneeze at though that contract most certainly is. He might not get them significant draft capital but a protected first and matching salary seems preferable to giving it up to get off of his contract that's only going to get more expensive over its remaining 2 and a three quarters-ish seasons.
Right off the bat, we should knock off the Lakers and Kings who were previously rumored to be interested in Zach. The Lakers biggest problem right now is defense so adding Zach LaVine to that is inly going to make that problem all the worse. Even if Sacramento hadn't traded for DeMar, they'd face similar concerns though it's worth noting their defense has been around league average, being 16th at the moment of this writing. Now that they do have DeMar, well it's not as though the Bulls were great on the defensive end last season with DeMar and LaVine; Chicago was 19th and 20th in defensive rating over the past 2 seasons. Add on to that Sabonis and Fox not being great defenders in their own right and it makes all the less sense to make the Kings even more top heavy by moving what salary they can into a core four of mostly career negative defenders.
The Magic are an interesting case. Their defense is amongst the best in the league but they can struggle to get a bucket in the clutch. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's salary makes for an obvious salary ballast and his start to the season might make it a wise decision to get off of his contract while they still can, plus Orlando does have a spare first in a Top 5 protected Nuggets first. Plus the Bulls could bet on rehabbing KCP's value and potentially flip him in a future deadline if he does bounce back. If he doesn't? Well, moving $22 million-ish is a lot easier than $43 - and the latter is only going to go up if a trade doesn't manifest by the deadline.
Nikola Vucevic
Regardless of whether you think Vucci Mane's bounceback is fool's gold or real, it's fair to say he's in a similar spot to Zach where he's no longer being traded for the sake of it but could bring back something. A couple seconds isn't a lot but it's better than nothing.
The Golden State Warriors and their lack of size might seem like an optimal pairing especially with Curry likely to give Nikola even more of a reason for defenders to sag off of him/dare him to shoot (which again, not getting into whether his recent hot streak is real or not) but while Vooch does provide them a bigger body to help out with the rebound game, his rim deterrence is not going to change, at least not for the better given his age. That said, De'Anthony Melton's recent announcement to undertake season-ending surgery makes him an optimal salary piece, and the Dubs do have some interesting seconds to spare, namely two seconds from the Hawks in 2026 and 2028 respectively.
Other than them? It's hard to find a team that isn't in luxury tax hell that can actually trade for an offensive center with poor defense. The Magic would make some sense if they didn't already struggle to give their various big men minutes and even if they were ready to move on from Wendell Carter Jr., they could stand to do better than get back Nikola Vucevic for him though again, KCP remains an obvious option for any trade requiring a larger salary.
Patrick Williams
So quick thing about Patrick Williams: He can't actually be traded for another two weeks due to signing a recent extension. That said, I do think it's still worth talking about Williams because he's the only one of these players where I can see the Bulls having to attach someone or something to take a risk on that contract...
...the question is who would want him after the start he's had. We recently got a report that the Hornets, Thunder and Raptors were floated as potential suitors when he was a restricted free agent in the offseason but OKC is in contention and probably not willing to tolerate Williams various inconsistencies (Ditto the Cavaliers who i've seen as a suggested destination).
That said, Sam Presti has never said no to acquiring more picks and the Thunder have at least two more years before they have to worry about the luxury tax (Chet, Jalen Williams will be RFAs in 2026 but will likely receive hefty extensions in the 2025 offseason) so it's possible they take a flier on him and then move him as salary filler should they decide to go all in for another star alongside their budding Big 3?
The Hornets could make for an interesting fit next to LaMelo given one of the few positives that can be given to Patrick is he's a great spot-up shooter and Ball will give him some pretty open looks. The question is who goes to Chicago in a deal to match salaries when Grant Williams is dead salary in his own right this year due to an injury (Less money than Williams and one less year but still) and Josh Green has been...fine.
The Raptors...have lots of expiring contracts I guess? Chris Boucher would save Jerry Reinsdorf and co. about $8 million this year? With how banged up Toronto remains, I can't imagine they'd be interested in taking on a contract of an oft-injured wing that would severely overcomplicate the offseason where at least 3 of their players will be heading for free agency, the restricted of whom seem like genuine keepers in Gradey Dick and Johnathan Mogbo while the sole UFA in RJ Barrett has been playing rather well while evaluating his fit next to Scottie Barnes.
There really isn't a standout destination for Williams at the moment. Maybe the Blazers? If the plan is to dump Williams salary before he's officially ruled a bust at the ripe age of 23 then perhaps Portland can use this as an opportunity to reacquire control of their own draft capital (The pick they sent out for Larry Nance Jr. is heavily protected until 2028).
Lonzo Ball
As fun as it might be to suggest Lonzo Ball returning to the Lakers since D'Anglo Russell has had a poor start to the year and is the most obvious trade candidate, let's be real: Lonzo Ball, while decent in his limited minutes, is a very risky option for a Lakers team that has struggled with health in prior seasons. Cheaper than Jerami Grant or whomever else is the go-to Lakers trade machine darling? Sure but it's a lateral move at best and Reaves has been much better as the starting PG since Russell's benching/subsequent moving of Austin to the lead guard role.
Like Patrick Williams, there isn't an obvious destination and while he could be used to take on bad money for a pick or two, Chicago wanting to shed salary being a primary motivator for their looming fire sale would suggest they are not likely to make a trade where they're taking on more salary in either the short or long-term.
It's also just...much harder to trade Lonzo given his injury history completely overshadows any concerns one might have about Patrick Williams living up the Kawhi draft comparisons in the most unfortunate manner possible. Again, he's been fine in limited minutes but he's played single digit games this season. Maybe the Blazers in a 3-teamer (Portland has quite a few veterans they can trade at or close to the deadline to match salaries in a Ball trade) to get their aforementioned pick back? Who the third team would be for some combination of Matisse Thybulle, Timelord or Jerami Grant is another matter entirely.
Other Names of Note
- Even though the Bulls are open for business and not making anyone untouchable, it's hard to see them parting with either Coby White - one of the team's few bright spots - or the recently drafted kid who comes from the Windy City himself in Matas Buzelis. You could maybe make an argument for White if the Bulls get a "too stupid to pass up" offer or if he indicates he won't re-sign with the Bulls this offseason but he's only 24 and on a great contract considering his production. Matas should be fairly self-explanatory.
- The Bulls didn't commit to extending Josh Giddey so a trade isn't out of the realm of possibility since it's not as if Chicago doesn't have a glut of guards but Giddey's particular archetype is very hard to build around in the modern NBA since he needs the ball in his hand to really get anything done.
- Jevon Carter could probably fetch a second rounder or a swap with a future second? There's not a lot outside of the top players to note as far as value goes for a trade unless you want to treat Chris Duarte's contract as an expiring, which as mentioned before, doesn't make sense with Chicago wanting to shed salary.

I’ve colored my hair plenty, but I leave a shadow root and don’t bleach near my roots. My husband is finally ready to try coloring his Mohawk, but I have some questions…
His hair is short, about 1” at the length and nearly bald on the sides. I know when I’ve looked at bleaching my long hair, it says to do the roots for less time due to the heat from the scalp speeding up the process. So would I just do it for that ‘root’ amount of time on my husband’s short hair?
He has some thinning; do I need to account for a difference in time where it is quite thick compared to where it is thin? Or should it be about the same?
Do I need to be worried about protecting his scalp on the sides? If I trim the sides first down to bald, will any bleach that gets on his skin directly cause issues? I’ve seen plenty of guys with bleached buzz cuts, so I’m assuming it’s ok?
I don’t want to burn his scalp or cause him pain the first time he’s actually allowing me to play with the color! Any suggestions or tutorials would be great!! All I could find on Google was like an all-over buzzcut or a fade, not a real mohawk.
