2025.01.18 04:00 InnocentPerv93 I just bought my first home and learned a terrible story about it. I'd like some thoughts.
So I closed on my first home this slipped week. I'm 30 years old and am a homeowner now. I feel good, feel proud about this. But I learned something about the home from a neighbor.
While I was in the process of moving smaller boxes (the big move is tomorrow), a car stopped on the street to talk to me. It was an older woman, asking me if the home was sold.
I said, "yeah!"
She said, "did they tell you about what happened there?"
And I said, "no, what happened?"
She said, "well, about 2 years ago, a 5 year old girl was murdered in her room" and she pointed to the upstairs bedroom. She then introduced herself to me and said if I needed anything I could ask her, she lives down the street.
Now, I'm not superstitious at all, and she wasn't unfriendly, but I want to know, does a murder affect the house at all? My realtor didn't mention anything about this, but I don't think they have to. The house was built in 1972, so it's over 50 years old, it's also in a not great neighborhood. It's inevitable that it would've seen some tragedy. But something about this has changed me, I feel paranoid, sad, and just not as excited anymore. And idk if what she said was even true.
I'm just curious what you all think. Am I in my own head too much about this? Should I treat it as nothing? Does it affect the home in some way, like when a car gets into an accident and is forever changed?

I was following a guide to astral projection and was deep in meditation after over an hour of doing meditation and following the audio from a guide and could feel my (for lack of better description) soul and suddenly I saw some kind of tribal mask with glassy reflective eyes staring at me scaring me and knocking me out of the trance I was in, this is my first time in a long while trying to reconnect with my spirituality and this was def a experience. I've never seen a single couple online where one is an asian bear type and the other is someone smaller like a twink. Every single interaction and activities I've seen of them are around people with similar physique. Yeah sure, people has preference here and there but it's impossible for me to find an instance. This sucks cuz I'm a tiny asian guy who can only be attracted to bigger dudes. I love the shape I'm in and wouldn't wish otherwises. But this is depressing and I've already settled my mind to be forever single/j. I'm sure there's a fraction of men out there who would be a match for me but reality slaps me hard everytime I have any string of hope. Just a lil rant, I know I'll find my guy someday XD.

I have obviously caught up to the anime and eagerly await February. While waiting, I wondered if I should reread the LNs that have happened to get adapted already. I own up to volume 22 physically and need an excuse to binge everything as I am the type of person to consume 20 pieces of media at once. I have only watched the anime so far, and have only actually read volume 19- as that is where the anime leaves us.
