The seller even offered a discount since I didn't haggle at all and everyone else was lowballing (even at that price lol)
The build was chaotic. Like the guy from few days ago, apparently I don't like building anymore. CPU COOLERS STILL SUCK. This was the worst I've ever seen. My previous pcs had 412S and the other one had stock zen 3 cooler. They were easy, they were nice and kind to me. I don't know how many hours it took. That's my only issue with it.
I'm positively surprised that the mobo has 4x nvme slots. I slotted 4, plus an 8tb hdd; and the kioxia one goes to my dad alongside 5600x and 3080.
I'm someone they usually call "with monkey appetite". I try to do everything at once. I'll mainly play games on 4k144, do some hobby game dev, work on some amateur AI projects etc.
Few questions:
* I can't find the exact ram model. Can I get something with similar chips, frequency and latency to do 4x32GB?
* I *liked* windows up until windows 11. It's decent I guess but too invasive even for me, and really really buggy. I'll dual boot. I'm actually a linux admin; and a rhel god i guess. Can I use Fedora as a daily driver or what distro would you recommend?

Hi friends,
I'm 25 days sober after a decade of smoking (couple prior attempts here and there). Im finding myself in very tense shoulder positions while I sleep and its affecting my neck and head when I wake up. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to help?
I can't tell if it's from actually processing (or attempting to) my stress now, or if it's from quitting. Either way I'm over it, haha.

This is my first time doing joists, apart from finishing up the fireplace I feel like the floor is ready to go on, everything feels sturdy and is level, anything obvious I am missing?
The noggins were a bit of a after thought just to keep the centre of the room a little more rigid. The joists are joined at the centre with 2 splices plates where they sit on the sleeper wall.
Have I done anything absolutely idiotic before I get the insulation in and flooring back down finally?

Just to start, we are both in high school. Me and him met last year, and since then we became inseparable. We sit together, go places together, talk about everything all the time, text for hours on end, and even eat together. This 6'1 fuck is so cute. He loves to talk and I love to listen, he's exactly my type, and he makes me feel good about myself.
He has been doing stuff that make me think he's flirting, but I have no idea. We are both the type of people who are oblivious to flirting unless it's crazy obvious. Nonetheless, I've been flirting back. To give an example! Halloween party, no seating and he's on the couch, I laid across his lap and he fed me a KitKat. How much more obvious does it get! I have a man-bun and he has stuck his finger through it and made a sex joke, I have straight forward complimented his ass.
I know he is bi like me but there's also the age gap. In high school it feels more dramatic especially since he graduates next year. I don't care about 1-2 years, but I don't know if he does. He also has much better grades than me, and has a bright future lined up for him. On the other hand, I'm on the military path.
Here's the last bit, recently he told me that he is going to ask someone out that he really likes and he asked me where I would want to go if I was on a date.... I gave him my advice but he didn't mean me... Now he has a super hot girlfriend who I see him cuddling with nearly every day. I don't know what to do from here. I have already had more than my fair share of trauma and I'm incredibly lonely. I need someone to cuddle with like that..

I just started my EMDR journey three weeks ago. I’m mostly doing it because I struggle with perfectionism and anxiety to a point where every single exam season brings me to a burnout stage and antidepressants. All of this goes back to my parents (especially my father) being very critical of me and being affectionate only when I was the best. Only then I felt truly seen. The first session of processing we worked on establishing a belief that “I feel good about myself”, no matter the outcome of my exams, actions, etc. I felt something in me change for good after that. The second one though sent me back to a lot of memories of my dad being critical (my therapist suggested this might hit hard but I wanted to try it anyway). I didn’t feel triggered during the session, but now being home I feel restless and extremely overstimulated. This session happened today, by the way. I know that in my case it’s not your typical trauma and there are a lot of other people having it worse than me, but do you have any advice on how to manage this sensation? Thanks!

My cheeks get enflamed and its like a huge cyst under my skin. its just my whole face is bad and very sensitive it hurts to touch certain spots and it feels like its bloated half the time i dont want scars on my face either. Like i said with my cheek bone area on my face gets all enflamed and basically turns into a cyst.
my cheeks get alot of black heads and white heads but mostly black ones.
my neck gets 3 pimples in the same spot where my beards thickens out
both of my ears get black heads on the flat spot before the earhole.
i get alot of black heads just about every where on my face and its worse for my facial hair.
I work alot outside on cars and other stuff.
my skin is naturally oily and not as bad as it once was but still makes me insecure.
My routine is day and night
i have a fenty facial scrub
i use 3 cleansers two cera ve and one snail mucin
i use 2 toners black head hero and a snail mucin one
same for my moisturizer
i also take this weird spray that smells like a pool its a antimicrobial facial spray.

Hi All, I'm completely new here and new to reddit even (thanks to growing up under a rock). I'm gonna be short and blunt with facts. I'm so tired... feeling so alone. I don't feel pretty, full of life or ambitious. I started cleaning homes 4 years ago because we were broke, I was severely depressed after the whole covid thing and tired of not being able to even feed myself. My husband is self employed and although he is very good at remodeling and doing the actual work, he's not the best at money management and keeping himself full of work. His work is off and on, not steady and as weeks and months of gaps without getting new jobs that bring in more funds. He constantly overdraws his business bank account, our personal bank account and owes people money. He has been 5 months sober, which I'm very very thankful for. For 3 years I worked so hard and kept gaining new clients to reach the point of now paying for everything for not only our living expenses, but running a team of 4 staff every week. I did this while he was wasted every evening. Now he doesn't drink after quitting cold turkey. He was sick for about 4 months after quitting, but is doing much better now. However, he still doesn't have work. He won't apply to any job that would give him a steady income and we just ran his books for last year and I found out he owes so much on credit cards and oweing people. I'm getting to the point where I'm so physically tired trying to expand my cleaning business but can't stop cleaning because I'm paying for everything and can't risk lowering my income. I've read Laura Doyles books and want the freedom and bliss she talks about but it feels so far away. My husband loves me a lot. He's a good man and treats me well. But it stings knowing he doesn't provide for me at all. His confidence is shot thru with his inability to provide for me... but I don't understand why he won't change anything. He's very stubborn. Everytime I bring it up he gets upset. I've saved all year and worked very hard to be able to move into a rental home but just realized that our constantly over drawn personal bank account is hindering us. We've already submitted our notice to vacate. We were homeless 5 years ago and now I'm terrified I've just caused us to be homeless yet again.. I just want to have a break and not be in this position...I want to be a traditional wife and grow my cleaning business without all the stress of being the provider too. I guess I'm just here to vent a little cuz I'm feeling hopeless... How can I trust my husband to provide for me? How can I inspire or motivate to either get a job or do better with getting more steady income?

 | Hey guys first of all I am by no mean certified hvac or electrician. Long story short couple days ago i had a weird smell comming from the vent and end up being the amp contactor being burned up along the wires. I went and replaced it already and seems to be running fine. When I was working on it I noticed the outside panel is 50 amps but inside my furnace have a 60 amps breaker ?? Is it just me or does the outside panel have to be 60 amps as well. Would that what caused the contactor burned up ?Here is couple pictures for reference and along the link to my unit. I previously requested service cancellation on November 25, 2024, yet I have been incorrectly billed for the period from November 27, 2024, to December 26, 2024, despite not using your services during this time.
During my interactions with Optimum’s customer support representatives, I was assured that my balance was $0. However, I later received notice that my account had been reported to collections for a non-existent balance. The sequence of events is as follows:
November 25, 2024: I contacted Optimum to request service cancellation.
November 27 – December 26, 2024: A billing cycle was generated for a period after my cancellation request.
Multiple Customer Support Interactions: Initially, I was told my balance was $0, but later, I was informed that I still had a due balance of $90.55 that was sent to collections.
This is such a frustrating experience with optimum.
