This is a place for asking simple questions that might not deserve their own thread. For example, if you have a question about a rules interaction, want sleeve and accessory recommendations, or suggestions for your new deck, then this is the place for you.
We encourage that you post any questions that you may have concerning Magic the Gathering here rather than make a separate thread for each question, though for now we won't require that you do so.
Rules Questions
Rules questions and interactions are allowed to be posted here, but if you need an answer quickly it may be best to use a dedicated resource like the 24/7 Magic the Gathering Rules Chat.
Deckbuilding Questions
If you're trying to get help with a deck, it is recommended that you post your decklist to a deckbuilding website so that it is easier to view. Some popular sites are Aetherhub, Archidekt, Deckbox, Deckstats, Moxfield, MtgGoldfish, and TappedOut.
Additionally, please include some description of what you are trying to accomplish. Don't just give us a decklist with no explanation, and don't ask extremely vague questions such as "what cards should I add to my deck to make it better?", because it's hard to give good advice in those cases. Let us know details, the more the better. Are you building with a particular strategy or theme in mind? Are there any non-obvious combo lines or synergies that people should be aware of? Are you struggling with a particular matchup, or are you finding yourself missing consistency in an important area, and need some help specifically for it? Let us know.
Commonly Asked Questions
I opened a card from a different set in my booster pack, is this unusual?Don't worry, this is completely normal. If you opened a set booster, you have a small chance of obtaining a bonus card from a previous set. This is an extra card that does not replace any of the other cards in your pack, and is from a curated set of past hits that Wizards of the Coast has selected, which they call "The List".

My foil card has a shooting start symbol over the bottom left. I can't find anything about it online.All old-bordered foils have the shooting star symbol. Most sites that display card images just overlay a generic foil graphic over all foil cards, which doesn't include the shooting star. Your card is normal.

2025.01.18 11:01 Brief-King-68 Almost done with college but still lost
Hey guys i’m finishing up a bio degree at the moment, but still have no clue what it is exactly i wanna do after college. I thought about med school and dental school, but i’m very burnt out from school and don’t wanna risk going into either program knowing i might potentially fail to commit. I also have always had a passion for acting, modeling, or any career within that realm.
I initially went into college as a straight A high school student, but gradually my grades have dropped to mostly B’s and some C’s here and there, but I have to admit I hardly put any effort because I don’t really see myself working in the bio/science field.
I really want to pursue acting or start up a social media account, but don’t really even know how to get into acting or come up with a good idea for social media. There’s a lot of pressure, especially since I’m moving once I graduate, and I don’t really have a concrete plan.
I’m thinking I might just get a job to get by for the next few years, work on myself (physique, skin care, diet, etc.) while i work on pursuing my dreams. And if that doesn’t work out, my backup option will probably be going back to school for a Master’s or a PhD and (ironically) become a bio professor. Any advice?

I am bored with my S23 ultra ,the camera is not good and photos colour is far from the reality. Prefer flip phone due to form factor but it has hinge issues which makes me not sure. Should i just go with Iphone 16 pro due to reliable camera and IOS offers customization now like android .
Looking for suggestions if there is any reliable flip phone right now or should I go with iphone or wait for somwthing else in 2025

After mending rust around the taillights on my r50, I am getting around to fixing my door rust issue. Fixing the current door would be more expensive and most likely look worse than just finding a door that isn’t rusty, but I would also like a door that fits my car. So do any of you know what chassis share the same door as the r50?
Thank you so much in advance, I have enjoyed this little thing for the last 2 years and have had plenty of fun with it, a perfect first car

I’m into week 2 now, and have more or less stopped drinking Diet Coke/pepsi. I used to drink at least 2litres a day.
My wife and mother been nagging me for years to cut down, looks like Mounjaro has finally done the trick.
Anyone else had similar addictions stoped?
