My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half. He’s my first boyfriend, and I care about him a lot, but I’m conflicted after a recent argument.
At the start of our relationship, he made frequent insults, calling out my appearance (big nose, big ears, I had boobs like deflated balloons), and making comments about my job and weight, pointing out he was skinner than me. I confronted him about it 6 months ago, although initially defensive, he eventually apologised, blaming his autism and saying it was just his way of joking with friends and family and he had no mean intentions. Things improved for a while, but last week, he made another “joke” about my nose, which is one of my biggest insecurities. We were out for a meal and when I asked if I had anything on my face, he replied ‘no, apart from that massive nose’. When I told him that I didn’t find it funny, he brushed it off making a comment about how you can’t joke around a woman, and said he didn’t know I was insecure about it.
I ended up telling him it was over, but we talked, and he apologised acknowledging he handled it horribly, and asked for another chance. We had a nice week together afterwards, but now that I’m reflecting, I’m unsure if I made the right choice. My friends and family think I should end it. I want to believe he doesn’t mean to hurt me, but it feels like a lack of respect.
He can be very sweet and affectionate at times and we do get on very well. I also rely on him pretty heavily financially, so breaking up would have other consequences too.

Hey all, so I have just finished my product design studies and would need some help with 2D work for e.g. my portfolio, a presentation or my website for job applications. During my studies we mainly worked with 3D prototyping, CAD, furniture and I don’t really manage to nail 2D layouts, typography, etc. since I never learned it.
What I could offer you in exchange would be CAD (3D model creation), 3D prints, but also I could code you a website. I could also pay, but since I don’t have a job yet, I am not able to pay a normal price for a graphic designer. It would be fine if you are still a student or not that experienced.
A dream would be, if you would also be from Berlin, since I am not too much into video calls or endless chat messages.

Sudden feeling of fainting while eating – what could this be?
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here can help me or has experienced something similar. I had a really scary experience today that I can’t explain.
This morning, I went for a jog without eating or drinking anything beforehand. Afterward, I rested a bit and then started eating. While I was eating and looking out the window – kind of lost in thought, almost in a daydream – I suddenly felt like I was about to faint. It felt like I was being “knocked out of reality” or like a slap in the face. The sensation was so intense that it triggered a lot of anxiety.
For context: • I hadn’t eaten or drunk anything before jogging (except some supplements like Omega-3, magnesium, and a B-complex vitamin). • I often deal with derealization, but this felt different and more physical. • The whole experience shook me, and now just thinking about it makes me feel like it might happen again.
Has anyone else experienced something like this or has any idea what it could be? Could it be related to my blood sugar, circulation, or something else? I’d really appreciate any advice or insights.

I recently bought a Beam Gen2, connected it to my Google home/Google Assistant. Now I have noticed it suddenly started lowering the volume at random times while we watch TV.
I turned on the "Wake word chime" in the settings, because I suspected its the voice assistant thats lowering the volume to listen for commands. Sure enough, next time the volume was automatically lowered, the chime also played.
Anyone else experienced this? I never chose a wake word, so I dont know if there is some default word that it might pickup from the TV audio.. I just assumed it would listen for the Google command as its connected to Google Assistant (Hey Google/Ok Google).
Not a big issue, I can always turn off the assistant and disconnect the Sonos from the Google home ecosystem. How do I check which word the Beam uses as wake word? And is it possible to change it?
