Have not test driven them yet, anyone have them and have an opinion on them? I think they’ll serve me just fine, the try on seems comfy and super sturdy, and they have all the specs I’m looking for (although I’m surprised at the lack of options from major brands in this specific area of boot).
and some recent snowy hike pics just for funzies—love that Smartwool ball cap so much for cold but sunny days 👌, <30° F here, 9 mile hike

Hello, I'm a complete mess rn because I've found out that I'm not a Biology major.
When applying to this school, I applied to the Biology program to get a B.S. in Biology. But this whole time, for the past 4 years of working toward this degree, I didn't notice that I'm actually in the "Science, Bachelor in Science with a concentration in Biology" program. Ik the names seem really similar, but I looked into it more and it's different from the Biology B.S offered here, which is called "Biology, Bachelor in Science." So basically I'm not a Biology major, I'm a science major with a concentration in Biology????
If I were to switch from my current major to Biology, I would have to do at least 2 additional semesters + summer classes. I don't know if I can handle that financially and mentally. Also, my parents are also expecting me to graduate sooner. I'm so distressed and I can't believe I've overlooked something like this for so long. I feel so incredibly stupid.
I'm probably making a bigger deal about this than it is, but this whole time, I thought I was working toward a biology degree and was planning my life ahead with it. I have no idea if this is going to impact me or not and if employers would prefer I had that biology degree instead.
I'm going to set up a meeting with my advisor, but I would really appreciate any advice anyone could give me.

2025.01.18 18:38 Unusual_Feedback_743 Help with setting up an additional PIR for a Texecom Veritas R8
I have moved into a new build house in the UK and it came with a Texecom Veritas R8 system. There are already 4 PIRs set up, and there was a cable fed through to the garage so if you wanted to set up another zone, you could.
I purchased another PIR and connected it to the spare cable in the garage (matching the wiring of another PIR in the house). I had hoped this would work, however, I presume it has not been connected at the other end.
The first picture is of the control panel and I think the spare cable rolled up on the right hand side is the cable that fed through to the garage.
Is this a straight forward job that I can do myself? Or should I contact an engineer to come and take a look?
I should also add I don’t have access to the engineers code, so if I need to change any of the settings for the alarm I would not be able to do so myself.
