 | I got a CEL on my 2016 Silverado 1500 5.3L V8 with the accompanying codes. I noticed I have a significant crack in the engine air cleaner intake duct housing (plastic). I know with those codes it could be a slew of issues but is it a safe assumption that is the culprit? I’ve been getting hammered with unfortunate financial life events and could really benefit by saving money where I can and avoid a mechanic bill if I can do this myself. Does anyone know of a mouse like the Taipan that isn't Razer? After 10 years, my Taipan is no longer serviceable. Its scroll click stopped working years ago so I mapped it to a side button. Now that side button will send anywhere between zero and three clicks per press. And just as annoyingly, its sensor occasionally glitches and won't track properly.
I've gotten very used to its shape and would like to stay with something similar if possible, as well as a couple extra buttons on either side.
I haven't gotten to try many mice, but the only things I know I don't like are the wings on some mice that keep your thumb and pinky off of your mousepad and the Razer DeathAdder; my hand just doesn't sit on it right.
Wired or wireless are both fine, I'm not competitive, I use fingertip and claw grips, and I never really go above 2000 dpi on the Taipan. Cost is a bit of a concern, $50 would be cool, but I know mice get expensive.

I won’t be able to make the Friday or weekend events but I will be in Daytona for Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Would it be risky to wait until the day of to buy tickets?

I was playing the Black Ops 6 campaign when an enemy dropped a shotgun perfectly straight when I killed him.
It just so happens it was in the position to be right in the middle of the ending cutscene when the SAS Pilot says "Going Vertical" and it is in fact a vertical shotgun. 😆😂😂

my 2019 toyota yaris ia sedan has had problems with batteries since her very first battery replacement in november 2022. the one she came from the factory with lasted three years - no issues with it
the next battery i got, the one from november 2022, lasted four months. i got it replaced for free because of the warranty. that battery lasted six months before it died and the dealership gave it a complimentary super charge because while i got it under my car’s warranty, it died after the warranty expired. then it completely died about three months later
at this point it’s october 2023 and i buy a new battery at full price. this one lasted until yesterday. my car is currently sitting in my apartment complex parking lot, dead. like, i can’t even open the trunk or lock her doors dead. her push to start button doesn’t even recognize my key fob when i tried turning the engine over that way; it just clicked like it was trying, but nothing happened
i have an appointment with the toyota dealership i financed her from next tuesday. every time i’ve had a battery die, they just replace it and don’t look into it any further, so i don’t even know if i want to go
does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong? normally i’d ask my dad but he’s been on call at the hospital all week, and those are long nights for him. this is my first car, like ever, and she’s completely in my name. i financed her my third year in the military so unless these problems are more expensive to fix than to finance a new car entirely, i would really appreciate any recommendations you have

We were in a long-distance relationship for 3+ years, but here’s the part he left out: He’s still married, lives with his wife, and has two kids. He’s asked me to wait two years while he resolves things with his wife, yet he’s upset at the idea of me dating or moving on during that time.
Recently, he’s been sending me messages and posts implying I’m a narcissist for wanting to live my life, such as sharing content about people “discarding others” while “securing a new partner,” framing it like I’m manipulating him. In reality, I’ve been clear about my boundaries, and I’ve told him I don’t owe him total loyalty while he’s still in his marriage.
He often disregards my need for space, sending passive-aggressive texts like, ‘So, this is only applicable when you feel like it?’ or sarcastic remarks like, ‘I’m happy to see you’re in a better mental space today.’ When I ask him to stop sending inappropriate sexual content, he ignores me.
Now, he’s publicly posting about me as if I’m dishonest or disloyal, but he’s ignoring the imbalance: He’s asking me to wait around indefinitely while he figures out his life, without giving me the same respect and freedom.
This relationship feels less like love and more like control. I want a healthy partnership with respect, honesty, and boundaries. Am I wrong for feeling like this dynamic isn’t healthy or fair?
