I have a 3 year old border collie, she is good with walking and listening to me, but I can’t for the life of me get her to listen 100% of the time.
Meaning on walks if a car goes by, if she knows I have a treat in my hand and tell her to stay she probably will stay… but sometimes I could have a pound of bacon in my hand and she will lounge at the vehicle, not realizing that the only thing keeping her alive is me . I know that it’s dependent on the speed, sound and si see of the vehicle because some cars can pass by and she won’t care at all.
Then a race car or truck will go by and I’ll tell her the same thing I always say “car, stay” she will sit, but she is wiggling and itching to just burst and bungee jump at it 💥 so i have to bend down and hold her and she barks at the car, pulling me. then she looks at me like “yeah I know I’m not getting a treat, it was worth it”
I use two leashes tied together because she’s so strong. Andi wear a glove for grip and so I don’t destroy my hand.
But I can’t find a harness that I feel is comfortable enough for her. I hate harnesses but I can’t use just a collar because the car thing.
If we are walking she will listen to me when I say come stay let’s go, stop, around, go on the grass, off the grass, jump up, down, I’ll carry you, she super intuitive to my body language. I spend all day with her playing and interacting and i walk her multiple times a day for about an hour each time give or take, so it’s not like she isn’t being engaged enough, and I’ve definitely spent time training with her.
I’ve just come to terms with this is her, she wants to herd big machines and it’s my responsibility that I keep her safe.
So LONG story short
Any recommendations on a harness that is:
- strong enough to deal with her “bungee jumping”
- cushioned so it doesn’t hurt her armpits/chest
- pretty much won’t hurt her, is comfy and strong

2025.01.19 07:23 Strange-Stark Which character eventually grew on you on a rewatch? Mine's Kabuto.
When I first read the manga years ago, I didn’t feel much empathy for Kabuto. His backstory came as an annoying disturbance to the action that's happening between the 5 kages vs Madara and Naruto-Bee vs Jinchuriki-Bijuu. I wanted the chapters to be over cause we waited for that every week just to read a Kabuto childhood story.
I recently just watched it in the animé (first time) and I feel so sad for him. When I was reading the manga, I did not care about him at all and thought of him as a second-rated Orichimaru wannabe that I even got annoyed that he had a big part during the final war. But the story was so well translated on screen that I think I like him as a character now. That moment in the animé when one of his orphan-brother was shown as an adult expressing his hope for his brother (Kabuto) to come home hits hard. I'm glad Kabuto got a happy ending serving orphans in Konoha. I hope he got reunited with his orphanage brothers and sisters as well.
Which character grew on you on a re-watch or re-read? Or someone you didn't care about in the manga but liked in the animé?

Hi! This is a long shot but I saved a reel when my WiFi connection was weak and it never took. Hoping you guys can help me here!
The reel was on instagram and the video was about ways you can incorporate your dogs into your wedding without bringing them. They had two goldens and I’m 95% sure the username started with “gold…” first part talked about customized napkins but I didn’t get to finish it unfortunately.
Any ideas? It’s absolutely driving me crazy!

Atualmente tenho um PC que pretendia colocar 6000mhz em dual channel de 16GB cada pente. Acontece que nessa busca de preço fiquei doido quando vi uma 'promoção' da memória da marca que estava já buscando e comprei de forma desatenta, acabou sendo mais barata pois era memória de 5200mhz, Agora queria fazer um upgrade de 32GB para 64GB, mas estou na duvida se é melhor me desfazer, seja vendendo ou descartando os pentes com nem 3 meses de vida e substituir por novos de 6000mhz, alternativamente poderia colocar mais 2 pentes iguais atual e simplesmente ficar com 64GB através de 4x16GB. Meu CPU é um R9 7950X3D

So, during a previous playthrough (that I didn't finish, due to the latest update dropping), I encountered a cutscene with Mr. Qi sometime after the "kidnapping" cutscene that consisted of him just standing on the black screen, talking about my accomplishments, and, in the end, saying something to the effect of "something's going to have to be done about him."
I'm currently near the end of Summer, year 4, playing the Joja Route in my current playthrough, have actually achieved 100% perfection, but still haven't come across this scene, and I'm wondering if I somehow missed it or haven't fulfilled some sort of requirement. The only thing I haven't done yet is purchase the deed to Aurora Vineyard from Morris.

Hi all, wondering if any of you have other chronic illnesses or whatnot in addition to narcolepsy?
Specifically wondering if anyone here has Lyme? I'm mostly curios about chronic/post treatment Lyme, and anyone who believes their narcolepsy was triggered by Lyme. This is my situation and just curious if anyone else out there is like me!!
I also have Ehlers Danlos, POTS, and probably MCAS and would love to connect with anyone in this boat too. EDS and Lyme are what I consider my 2 "core" problems that have led to everything else.

2025.01.19 07:23 Caro__Grace (CA) I need to sublease or break my lease due to my awful roommates but they’re saying no. What can I do?
Basically what the title says, my roommates are awful and I can’t spend another 6 months enduring their abuse. They have a rowdy dog they don’t take care of (who bit me and drew blood), they constantly scream at each other, we can’t have any disagreement without them using DARVO, and they constantly talk down to my sister and I.
I asked our landlord if he’d be ok with us subleasing and he said yes if the roommates agree. Well in their never ending conquest to make my life horrible they’re saying no. I cannot live in this house anymore, I don’t feel safe. What can I do?
