2025.01.19 09:00 West_Poetry_7819 Today I broke off my 2 years friendship with 2 friends
2 weeks ago I found out that my best friends don't really take our 2 years long friendship that seriously after we had a hiccup. I was told to get more friends because I can't rely on them and that I am needy, and that it's only me taking things that seriously or trying to fix things, and there is a little to no chance of it going back to normal. Basically felt like a pet peeve in the story.
They were unbelievably cold to me until we had to attend a concert together that we planned to go to months ago, so they started acting nice and all until it was over and now back to cold.
Today I also found out that they are annoyed because they didn't want to be my therapists, even though I was their therapist too even more than them.
Funny enough, they never spoke about it to me, never told me I was annoying them, but waited till they found the silliest excuse to break up, which is me being quite in a NYE dinner after they ignored me the whole day.
Anyhow, it isn't the first time and won't be the last if I try to ever make friends, so I won't try to make any anymore. I can make do with solitude but I can't function with half-assed and broken relationships l, so I'll just let things take their course however it goes.
I don't deny any shortcomings from my side but it was never enough to break a friendship, and it only seems that people will particularly look for the straw, make it bigger, then break the camels back with it.
If I ever learnt anything is that nobody owes you anything and you don't owe anybody anything even after you pour your time, money, health and soul into them. If you really value the relationship and think that every good you've ever done would vouch for that one silly mistake, then you are wrong, everybody has their own redline and it doesn't matter whatever good you ever did for that person if they already think that their mountain-high pride is more important than years of good things and effort.
Conclusion is, take things for granted as much as people do and don't expect much from them, treat them and give them the same energy as they do to you.

I want to add a power socket to the outside of the case so I can just plug it in and charge everything without having to open it and get a cable out. I have a few questions around the safety and practicality of doing so.
- The plan is this. I buy something like This, fix it to the pelican case. Then on my power board i remove the plug and wire the cables from the power board to the back of this socket above. Then I would just plug a power cable into the socket on the outside the power the powerboard inside.
- Am I being completely stupid to think I can do something this? I know you're never supposed to fuck around with electricity. I'm just trying to understand if this sort of thing falls inside the "don't fuck around" category.

2025.01.19 09:00 Domzyyyy Looking For A Lovely Family To Bless That I Met A Couple Years Ago
This is a huge long shot, but I'm looking for information on a family..
I'll explain, so me and my friends came to vegas for a short break, we ran into a family that was holding a sign up saying "any donations welcome for car wash" so I spun the car round and pulled up.
The family was over the moon as I own a C8 and the kids was loving that a sports car had come to be cleaned. So anyway myself and my friend got to know the family they fed us welcomed us like we was apart of their family this touched our hearts in more ways that I can explain and 2 years later we still think about them.
We are returning back in March and we plan to go and visit them again but this time to bless them properly.
All I know is they are a Mexican family, their eldest son is learning the violin and wants to play professionally, his father works from his van and has a jet wash and all the stuff that a mobile car wash would need.
I know what school the kid goes to as the family had mentioned it during our conversation but I don't wish to share this on the net, however the parking lot they cleaned the car is at E Lake Mead Blvd outside of Killer Sounds Las Vegas Nevada.
Can anybody confirm that they are still there from time to time or even put me in touch with them.. any help would be appreciated.
