I'm 23 pushing for 24 and I've been working dead end jobs since i graduated from high school. I've mostly worked as a waiter and i haven't pursued any form of higher education.
I was a good student but i gave up during my final year in high-school. I didn't manage to get accepted in a university (I'm not from the US), so i just said to myself that I'll work first until i find something that interests me.
Unfortunately i haven't really found a passion. There isn't something specific i would really enjoy doing. I think that I've been dealing with a form of depression these past years. I also don't have many friends (3 people at most), and as a result i don't have a big social circle. I've never been to parties and haven't lived the "college life". My life has pretty much been job-home-sleep repeatedly. I haven't met anyone new people besides my colleagues.
In these 5 years i haven't really learned a new skill, i don't even have my license because i use the means of transportation. My classmates have been progressing in their lives, getting their BSc's and MSc's and i feel that I'm standing in the same level that I was when i graduated.
Im also in general very clumsy and I'm suspecting that i could have ADHD. i find it too hard to concentrate and i can't focus on a task for more than a few minutes. I could also possibly be on the spectrum as well.
So the question is, what can i do from now? How do i move? I've tried getting a trade but my clumsiness and the attitude of blue collar workers made me quit very quick. Getting a degree here requires a lot of preparation to get accepted and i don't think that i really have a passion? Everything seems just grey. Plus I've forgotten most of the things i were taught in school and nowadays I'd probably find it hard to solve easy math problems.
When i was still in school i wanted to study physics. But i feel like it's too hard to do it now, because my knowledgeable is very little on these fields. What do you think? You can't attend a community college here like in the US. There are only 4 year degrees in my country (5 for engineering and 6 for medicine).

In preparation for my new PC – well, technically the PC is already here, I'm just waiting on the GPU – I decided to tidy up the cable management on my rig a bit.
First, I added a 3D-printed cable channel to the monitor mount, keeping all the cables neatly organized. I also trimmed the monitor power cables to the perfect length to get rid of those unsightly cable bundles.
Behind the wheelbase, I installed two new 3D-printed cable boxes to keep all the USB cables looking clean and organized.

Picked this up tonight for $80AUD. One owner, original and very nice condition with only two small bumps on the front that you wouldn’t notice unless you looked hard. Very happy with it. Have cleaned it but plans are to retain the pickups but upgrade the electronics, new bridge and saddles, maybe vintage style tuners but might leave that for later. Likely will have it properly set up with a bone nut and fret level perhaps though the frets do look a tad small. We will see!

Honest question, and please no spoilers I'm still only in the first half of the 3.0 quest.
We've all seen the influx of critiques for HSR. Some new and some complaints are regarding design choices that have been here since beta. The main complaints I've seen the past week or so.
- Uninspiring and boring presentation of story. 1.2 To a lesser extent, people complaining about the length and yap.
- That the turn base battle mechanics are boring without a lot of choice and suffers from immense power creep.
- When devs do introduce gimmics people don't seem to like them. (Unknowable domain scepter and latest MoC trotter mechanic come to mind).
- Lackluster animation, lack of diversity in character models, etc.
- Lack of character side stories and the fast release pace meaning that personalities are undeveloped and certain characters get shafted on screen time to sell them.
- EN voice actor thing even though that is larger than just mihoyo products.
I would love to hear what people actually enjoy and what keeps then playing the game. Like, if you really aren't getting any joy from the playing experience why are you here?

2025.01.19 12:43 KaiFireborn21 Me, my two Verdicts, and my cursed Mavuika build (from the depths of Albedo's creation lab)
 | So, the only weapon I pulled for was Key of Khaj-Nisut, and I ended up losing twice - to Verdict. I don't have Navia nor Xilonen, nor am I planning to get them in the future. So I pull my Mavuika, and think "hmm, Bennet and Citlali as supports, check. Who will the third support be?". Well, the only claymore with good stats (and high drip value) I have is the Verdict, so that's what I use. The passive buffs skill damage but only when Crystallize shields are picked up. Will I not be able to use it without Xilonen? Wrong. Albedo gets resurrected instead. Replacing his DEF% set with Archaic Petra for a DMG% buff on top of triggering the Verdict passive buff proved quite effective. Plus, his burst actually buffs EM, which wasn't useful to me ever before... So yeah, that's the story. Whether Furina but no Verdict buff would be more effective here remains to be seen.
