I was about to order prismxr puppis s1, but they dont ship to Norway :( Do you have any recommendations for another one I can get?
Currently live at my grandparents house and their router is in the same room as im in, but I dont think its that good for VR. When I used virtual desktop to play beatsaber on pcvr together with LIV to record my gameplay, the game lagged so much that it wasnt really playable.

 | We just got Nugget the Russian dwarf hamster, on Wednesday the 15th. I know he's still getting used to his new home and family but I'm starting to worry he may actually be lazy or possibly not like his wheel. We have him in a 32L×19W×14H inch bin cage with an 8.5in wheel. I have seen him use his wheel and it seems to spin just fine without much effort or getting stuck. He has only used it for a few seconds, a few time as far as we have seen. We are scatter feeding and he hasn't came out after feeding, but I know some falls through the bedding. I work nights, so I'm basically nocturnal as well and go to check on him whenever I get up. My husband is also awake most nights, he said he hasn't heard the wheel while I've been at work but I'm not sure. I haven't caught him out and about or on his wheel on his own yet. I have worked most of the nights since we got him but I'm still surprised I haven't really seen him out more. I have owned dwarf hamsters before but I was a teenager last time I had them. He seems quite friendly overall and has taken sunflower seeds from our hands the few times we saw him. You may be asking, if he never comes out then how did you see him do this or that? A. First day we got him, he did some exploring before burrowing. B. I poked his bedding with a chew stick and he came out for a moment. Yes, I know be shouldn't be bothered, I was seriously worried if he was even coming out to drink by the time I got home from work this morning he came out of a burried paper towel roll and got a drink of water, then went back under. I have placed a sunflower seed and a peanut in his water holder so I can hopefully find some evidence of his survival without his fluff. I want to give him time and not worry. I don't work the next few nights and will be able to check on him frequently. Anyone have any advice or is this normal while they are settling in? Should we take him out to get some exercise in a hamster safe play pen? What are some things I should look out for? Hi all, I’m trying to choose between MSc Genomic Medicine at Exeter (accepted) and MSc Human and Molecular Genetics at Sheffield (recently offered).
Sheffield has a better QS ranking, but I’m unsure how much the programs differ in terms of labs, research opportunities, and career prospects. At Exeter, I’ve had discussions with a PI about a potential PhD.
Does that existing connection for a PhD matter much, or would Sheffield’s reputation and broader opportunities make it a better choice? I could still apply to Exeter for a PhD later if needed.
Any advice would be appreciated—thanks!

2025.01.19 13:00 klauras I really need help picking up my first AEG
Please HELP!
Hey, I'm about to buy my first AEG, my budget is around 300 - 420 bux but I'm not very confident on what I should spend it on, I'm either making a fully dedicated DMR or a an assault. (I plan on having one dedicated AEG to each role in the future).
I have highlighted below some of the AEGs that caught my attention but I'm not sure which brand or AEG to pick, maybe I'm letting some really good ones pass. I would like it to be as ready as possible out of the box but I plan on upgrading it with time. I'm definitely running it "stock" for a few months tho and I plan on running it long term, I get really attached to my gear.
One problem I'm having is that every other AEG I came across when googling was "too generic" (tons of M4's and AK's) and I couldn't keep getting info on their internals since there's way too many and I'm way too newbie to tell good from bad. Oh btw, we usually play on open fields with CQB areas.
* CYMA CM.098 SR25 PLATINUM: 1070mm long, it's huge. I'm 1,68m tall what concerns me is that this AEG might scrape/drag along the ground when I'm using my secondary weapon, and I always take good care of my gear.
* ICS AEG CXP-MARS. II S3 (either DMR or carbine for assault): It's my choice atm but I'm kind of insecure about it even after watching a full disassemble in YT.
* Looked into tons of MP5's, the MP5A5 high cycle from Tokyo Marui caught me, I'm really into it but they say the project is OLD af, so I don't know. Definitely caught my eye but I'm not sure if it's a solid pick.
Guess I have a thing for either too long or too smal AEGs as I seem to be into SMG's or really long DMR's at first glance. But I think that's connected to the fact that there's way too many AK's and M4's/AR15's to pick from.
For my secondary I ended deciding for the g17 gen5 from umarex. If it sux, now is the time to let me know.
I know it's way too much text but I'm kind of desperate ATM, I've been having this mental breakdown for 2 weeks now and it's time to pick something.

All my life, I always cover dance choreography and singing cover from artist songs and years later i questioned myself “do i keep doing this forever?” and “do i always cover other artist’s work?” and then i was like ”no tbh, i think wanna pursue being an artist and making my OWN piece” ,so i wanted to create choreography and producing music. Producing music is an interesting hobby/profession that i would like to try and i’ve tried visiting websites and i have no clue what im seing and what and where to start… soo what do i do first in producing music and what app/website that are free to produce???

I just watched a video about the switch 2 and the entire comment section was filled with fortnite kids spitting on the console (while having no information on the hardware) saying that "Still runs at 30fps" or "still can't run Fortnite" but didn't understand that: one, we have no information on the hardware, and two, well we don't buy a console to play fortnite, do we? I'm going to abandon Tiktok until it's released I think (even forever) I would like to have your opinion?

I’ve been battling with a brain injury recovery for over a decade. Past few years I’ve been building the groundwork to make a documentary about it (man-made problem affecting millions, lots of suicides as a result)
I have battled through horrifying symptoms daily for years to get this off the ground. I spent 5 years isolated 99% of the time any humans. I felt like the living dead. But I refused to give up. I’ve had to live with the injustice of knowing other people are responsible for this, but there’s been no compensation or consequence for them. I don’t know if I can have children (female, thirties). I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to work for someone else again. I don’t know if I can ever have a medication again (therefore lower life expectancy?). I raised a bit of cash to make the proof of concept (about to submit to festivals) but it’s been a long, tirring slog. There is nothing I would rather do with my time, other than questioning if I should’ve found a way to make money first and then been my own investor. Easier said than done right.
I have always seen crypto as a possible lifeline. A chance to come off disability benefit, finally feel freedom again and be able to fund my film and go into feature production.
I have people in the film industry literally laugh at me because I’m a first time producer and an “unknown”. I have been tunnel-vision in getting this film off the ground- whatever tf it takes.
I spend 90% my time either working on the film or checking the crypto markets to see if MAYBE I have a chance to “be my own hero”. I believe the bull run is coming soon. Friday was the first night I wasn’t up late checking crypto news, as I’ve been recovering from what feels like COVID again.
I saw the trump coin in the morning. If I’d seen it just 7 hours earlier I would’ve (let’s face it) gambled. I would’ve put $1k in if I’d seen a low MC and pulled out initial investment as soon as it doubled. It would’ve been worth 6 figures and in one fell swoop solved EVERYTHING. I could move to a safer place, invest in healing treatments and hire a team to help me finally get the film off the ground.
It’s such a double edged sword - I can’t look away from the opportunities, but the missed knife-edge opportunities hurt like a mofo. 7 hours. 7 hours difference to finally feel safe and free again. And make a film that could possible save thousands (maybe more) of lives.
I’m sure many others feel the same. How do people cope with these emotions? I didn’t slept last night and it’s seriously haunting me.
