I'm sorry if this is too sensitive, but I'm desperate for help.
Since early access release, I've lost count of how many hours I've played. I've made over 40 characters, including about 15 that I have played through Acts 1, 2, and 3 only to delete them because I was unhappy with the character names (sad we can't change them like in PoE 1 yet).
I don't want to derail the subject and add too much sob story for fear of this post getting deleted by mods. I will say though that I've spent over $2400 on both PoE 1 and PoE 2, poured countless hours into PoE since Betrayal league, and am looking to move on from this game and go forward with my life.
Simply put, I need some utter convincing for me to stop playing PoE. I love the game to death, so much that I've pulled 4 all-nighters in a row 3 weeks in a row playing this game. The game, which is highly addictive, is preventing me from progressing in life (I'm willing to elaborate in the comments; I don't want to make this initial post too long). Since I've supported the game this much, I think it's time for me to move on with my life.
I am begging for anyone to provide me some advice on how to stop wanting to play PoE for good. I know the simplest way is to uninstall the game and stop playing it, but I keep coming back to this game every single time. I'd appreciate any advice. This is essentially a plea for inspiration, for lack of a better phrase.

So nearly three weeks in to this and a few things Iāve experienced or āgetting used toā. Some good some a little less.
1) Overall like the look. I always felt I didnāt have the head shape for it. But the more I observe the more I generally like it.
2) Even though I like it I definitely still miss my hair. But with probably 35-45% of my hair experiencing loss I doubt any treatment could really recover it.
3) Not everyone likes it. My wife does not like the look on me. Which does not help my overall confidence. That being said my hair loss is very significant and Iām very conscious of my hair. So I donāt think I could go back. Surprisingly the kids were like āI got used to it after day 2.
4) I have a large cherry angioma on the back of my head. Itās been there for decades but now itās more problematic with shaving. So seeing a dermatologist over it.
5) Sleeping is painful sometimes. I think this has to do with the frequency of shaving but now that Iām razor shaving I notice at night it is a little painful at times having my head on a pillow.
6) That being said i havenāt been super happy with the performance of a rotary shaver. Itās good, but just misses a lot of areas for a good close shave. However maybe the razor shave it just too close and I need to re-try the rotary and see if the pain is less again. I didnāt remember discomfort shaving and sleeping the first 7-10 days using the rotary.
7) Time to shave. I wet shave in the shower. It just is much better for my skin. But shaving with a razor is easily 15+ minutes alone. The rotary is quicker but still takes like 3-4 passes and 10+ minutes.
But yeah mostly good. Some annoyances.

2025.01.19 14:20 Oratorgy Would this allow me to use a DAC with the PS5?
I'm planning on buying the Hifiman Edition XS but since the DAC in the ps5 controller can't drive them I thought about buying an external one. But since the PS5 only supports UAC 1 and since UAC 1 dacs are impossible to find here in Europe that wouldn't work.
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff so I hope someone with more intellect could help me here. My TV has an optical digital out port, if I plugged that into a dac, and then my headphones into the dac, would it work fine?
Or maybe if someone knows of a DAC under 120ā¬ that supports UAC1 that would work as well.
