Hello,
I can think of a couple of destructive (nails around the edges acting as a bumper) to prevent it from sliding but I imange there is something like an eraser or similar I could put under it to prevent it from sliding. My carpet is about a mid height - in the middle between berber and shag. Every couple of weeks I need to realign my carpet mat as it goes from being lined up to about a 35 degree angle from where I want it to be.

My remote works fine in the morning but it can't open the gate at night. I thought there was some interference, maybe with some alarms, that prevented the radio signal to travel to the antenna.
The thing is that oher people's remotes work fine at night too. How is it possible? Thank you.

Why don't teams in IPL form an all out pace attack in an auction, and build their home stadiums having green pitches like in AUS, SA and make it to their advantage just like CSK (& chepauk) does with spin. Since early last year I’ve been on the hunt for a PCC that maximizes fun, reliability, and affordability which could also be trusted defensively. After scouring YouTube and Reddit for contenders, the AKV stood out among the rest. It made it through Robski’s 5000 round torture test without issue, Garand Thumb raved that it was faster the his MP5 and MPX, and there were countless Reddit posts with customers echoing similar sentiments. So after saving throughout the year, I decided to pick up an ALG model on Black Friday.
On my first range trip, it took only one shot for me to experience my first FTE. I cleared it thinking it was a fluke and fired two more shots until it happened again. Switched mags, happened again and then again with another mag. While zeroing, I didn’t make it more than four shots without experiencing a malfunction. At that point I had lost all trust in the gun and knew that I was going to have to send it back to PSA for warranty repair.
PSA’s customer service communication was excellent and quick to respond, living up to what I’ve heard. They had it shipped, worked on, and delivered back to me in about a month. They replaced the bolt due to excessive peening and worked on the extractor to improve ejection. Confident it was repaired, I went to the range again expecting it to be good to go, but it is still malfunctioning; albeit every 10ish rounds versus 2-4 rounds. One malfunction even had the case get stuck beneath the bolt requiring me to disassemble the gun to clear it (as shown in the photo). I used both 115 grain and 124 grain ammo, but couldn’t make it through a single mag with either.
I’ve reached out to PSA again and hopefully they’ll have a solution, but at this point I have zero trust in this firearm and believe it’s a lemon given it’s still malfunctioning with replacement parts. Has anyone else had persistent problems with malfunctions even after warranty repair or do AKVs typically need a break in period? Most posts I see say it eats everything and is super reliable.

hiii, i wanted to make brownies and was wondering if you absolutely /need/ to use dark chocolate? i read somewhere that using milk chocolate makes it fudgy and i really want that. also not sure if i'm going to like the taste of dark chocolate and i avoid it because of health related issues. so can i use milk chocolate instead?
if yes, is cadbury milk chocolate a good option? feel free to suggest more!

2025.01.19 16:49 goblue4412 Float Switch and Drainage Issues
 | Live in a second story town house and my drain pipe with the float switch keeps triggering off because of water in the pipe. The float switch is new and seems to be working as intended. Unit was serviced a couple months ago and it hasn’t been extremely humid (do still live in SWFL). I seemingly have to suck the drain lines way more than I feel like I’ve ever had to anywhere else I’ve been in the area to keep it running properly. The unit is not old and runs fine otherwise. When I keep the float switch out, it works fine. I have attached pictures to show the configuration. Does anyone have any recommendations? If I am sucking the line should I be doing outside and inside? And if inside, which tube? Pour something down one/both of the tubes? In short I'm looking for a set not made in China, not gaudy and a water heater. I'm trying to avoid soda and other manufactured drinks while I'm at my desk or home. I drink a lot a day and need to simply make tea or at least not soda "the lazy option". I've been trying to drink tea over soda, but the problem is volume.
