2025.01.19 21:42 IcyFile8088 Alternate Char - Trouble with Mercenary
Hi all,
I’m really new to POE universe and took a deep dive on a Stormweaver Sorc, currently lvl 91. I’m having a blast, fantastic gameplay, etc.
It happens that I decided to level an alternate Merc and… It seems like I didn’t played the game at all 🤣
Act 1 was a breeze with the shitty uniques that I found with my main char and had no level requirements.
But the thing is that I’m finding the Merc really clunky and slow (the reload time is something ridiculous). Even when I was leveling my sorc it didn’t felt so slow (please note that I did not had any gear on the sorc, and it felt amazing).
So, giving all that, what am I missing? I have some Divines that I can spare and gear up this Merc, but with this massive amount of information, I find myself a little lost and decided to look out to this community for help (you guys helped me out a lot throughout my journey with POE and made a part of my fun gameplay today).
Hope that with your support I can get this alternate char up to speed and have even more fun during the campaign.

Hello! First time poster here.
I'm working on McAllister's "Black Dog" concerto for a recital later in the year, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for the upper altissimo notes? I can play Ab6 and Bb7 pretty consistently and with good tone/intonation, but that C7 has been killing me. All of the advice I can find online relates to the starting altissimo notes, and I haven't found any guidance for upper altissimo besides fingering charts. I guess the pros are just supposed to naturally know how to play ridiculously high consistently and so nobody talks about it online! I've been working with my teacher on this but I would love to know if anybody here has any advice.

I don’t want much. I don’t need a big house or nice things or extravagant vacations. I have things I want to do and hobbies I want to pursue sure, but when I think ahead to retirement the thing I look forward to the most is sleeping on my own schedule. That’s what motivates me. I just want to live my simple life and sleep in every day.
Anyone else feel the same way? What’s your one thing that comes to mind first when you look ahead to life after work?
