Hey all. I purchased an Odin 2 Portal so selling my pro.
$280 shipped, $260 local pickup in Columbus/ Lancaster Ohio. Used Odin 2 pro, comes with carrying case, extra screen protector, original buttons (I swapped to black), and custom grip bought from Etsy for better ergonomics. Works perfectly the only thing I notice is sometimes there is a single stuck pixel in the mid left of the screen and it only shows up when black. All other colors work fine. I have had this for about 6 months and only recently noticed it is pretty obscure unless you are looking for it. System will be reset before shipping.

My friends cat Anakin has a swollen head. It feels like there might be trapped fluid, and the it affects his vision. According to my friend, they went to the vet yesterday and the vet said it was an infection, and they drained some of the fluid, and a unspecified shot, but have not given any instruction.
Is there anyone who's experiences this before? My friend is worried that they got scammed, as there's no signs of the swelling dissipaiting.

I like hardcore music but I never really followed it or went to many hardcore shows. I was into other music genres that I preferred more.
One thing that turned me off from the hardcore scene was noticing that on twitter there was always some girls starting drama about something or other in the local hardcore scene. For example, a girl would date a guy and have a nasty break up and she’d accuse him of SA’ing her while they were dating or being verbally abusive or stuff like being friends with shitty people. Sometime it would be stuff like calling out guys for claiming edge but being caught smoking a cigarette or something dumb like that. Girls calling other girls out.
It really turned me off because the scene just seemed like it was all girls starting trouble and the dudes who wanted to smash said girls defending them and trying to fight whoever the girls were calling out. Every few months it seemed like it was a new girl, new set of drama, new dudes but all of the events were the same.
There was weird shit like some local girl was like 20 and started dating this dude who was like 16 and then he joined the 59’s. I think they’re still together but I always thought it was weird that the people in the scene were ok with that.
I knew this one guy who’s incredibly racist and homophobic and misogynistic to join the 59’s and I was always curious why they let him join if he was very open about his bigotry. He was known for beating the crap out of his ex gf too.
I always thought hardcore was supposed to be very much about not taking advantage of others and being against any form of bigotry. The stories my friends tell me about the fights that happen over stupid shit outside of venues was always insane.
Was your local scene anything like this at all? Or was your local scene actually chill?

 | Some things just get better with age; wine, whiskey, and apparently Justin Verlander. Although his 2024 campaign was riddled with injury, I think it’s worth noting the highlights from that injured season. San Francisco has a future hall of fame pitcher to look forward too, and here’s a few reasons as to why I think fans should take another look at the veteran pitcher. One thing that has changed since Pablo Sandoval’s 2 homer game in the 2012 World Series is the increase in pitching velocity around the league. Velocity is always the headline. Fans and hitters alike are left stunned by 100+ mph fastballs, and who can blame us, velocity is fun to watch. For Verlander however, the velocity he once possessed in his youth is now a fraction of what it was. He sits around 93-97 mph, which is more than enough to deal with hitters around the league. Although it may not be as elite as it once was, I would expect his fastball to play well all season long. In addition to his 4-seamer, Verlander also features a combination of a change-up, slider, and a curveball. His off speed pitches are something of a marvel, and play off his fastball extremely well. Keeping this in mind, he has four elite pitches to rely on and compete. At age 42, all baseball teams begin to wonder whether father time will catch up with Verlander, and bring an end to his illustrious career. Father time will have to wait however, because Justin said so. With the ambition to play well into his mid-forties, he still has the passion and drive to compete. Just listening to the interviews, and reading his comments, I have no reason to question his motives for signing in the bay. The most critical reason for this signing is for the benefit of the younger starters. Young rookies such as Kyle Harrison, Hayden Birdsong, and Landen Roupp have a real shot at making the starting rotation. Although all three of these young pitchers have a little bit of experience in the big leagues, it would be beneficial to gain a little more experience. Coincidentally, Professor Verlander has 20 years in Major League Baseball, and can potentially become a role model for the young players. By giving them plenty of opportunities to learn from his routine, and how to be successful as a professional, there no doubt that even being in his presence, the rookies are bound to learn something. So what is all the panic for? For one, injury concerns are a valid concern as he enters his age 42 season. However watching his introductory press conference, Verlander was confident about his health and throwing program which should give the fans a reason to not panik. In addition, I think the expectation of slotting him in the rotation behind Logan Webb, gives the impression he will return to his Cy Young caliber days.
