You can tell when youâve got a dealer that understands EVs and follows the TSBs to the letter. I just had the latest software recall done for the ICCU, and when I got the car back, the headlights and wipers were set to âoffâ (instead of auto), the courtesy dome light button was âoffâ, the infotainment was off, and the HVAC was off. Basically everything that could put load on the 12v during the update was turned off. I also checked the log from my little 12v Bluetooth monitor and could see that theyâd had the battery on a charger while the software update was being done. Ok - yes - they could have turned all that stuff back on before handing the car back, but honestly that doesnât bother me. My wifeâs Niro had a software recall a couple of weeks ago too and her car came back with the same things turned off. The techs and the staff at the dealer I use are all pretty fluent in EVs and quite enthusiastic. I feel lucky, given the number of âmy dealer is terribleâ posts I see floating around. FYI itâs Doug Smith Kia in Lindon, in Utah (they recently moved down the road from American Fork)

Nesse final de semana, na sexta a noite, chamei um cara de 36 anos aqui em casa, ele ia ficar, dormir e na manhĂŁ seguinte ir embora, mas ele nĂŁo foi e passou o final de semana todo aqui e foi embora hj na verdade.
Bom aĂ Ă© q tĂĄ eu gostei ksk foi bem legal, a gente viu filme, almoçou, ficou no sofĂĄ vendo tv, ele Ă© super fofo e atencioso Ă© atĂ© engraçado pq ele Ă© todo fortĂŁo, grandĂŁo, braço tatuado, barba mas Ă© um doce. Eu nĂŁo sei se Ă© a carĂȘncia de nĂŁo conversar com ninguĂ©m e morar sozinho ou pq geralmente os caras q eu fico nĂŁo sĂŁo tĂŁo legais assim mas parece q eu gostei dele de verdade.
E ele ficou fazendo piada q a gente ia namorar, me contou um monte da vida dele e essas coisas. Eu meio q tÎ pensando na possibilidade mas aà eu penso, quando eu nasci ele tinha 18 anos, ele só estudou até a quinta serie, ele soa ainda mais velho do que ele é pq ele tem um problema de audição aà implica um pouco na fala dele.
E tudo isso Ă© bem prematuro eu sei mas Ă© pq ele me mandou mensagem dizendo q tĂĄ com saudade, eu tbm fiquei e agora ele vai ficar 1 mĂȘs em SĂŁo Paulo por conta do trabalho dele e quando ele voltar meio q jĂĄ tĂĄ certo pra ele ficar aqui de novo, bom eu tĂŽ com medo seguir adiante com seja lĂĄ oq for isso, nĂŁo parece uma boa ideia, como eu ia falar isso com minha famĂlia, muitos pensamentos.

PD really has a serious issue with brake balance in GT7 and they have yet to fix it from day one. Every single production car has serious issues with locking of the rear brakes even with a brake balance controller set to maximum front bias. Itâs a little better with racing cars, but the production cars are a joke for this.

Iâm reading through Laymonâs entire catalog, and have a list where im striking them off as i read. however, im in a rut as to what to read after my current read, Come Out Tonight, because theres just so many im interested in.
so far, I have read: Beware!, The Cellar, The Traveling Vampire Show, Bite, and Flesh. of these, i particularly enjoyed Beware and The Cellar, but found Bite and Traveling Vampire Show to be a bit slow and tame for my taste. Flesh was in the middle for me, I didnât dislike it but it felt like a âby-the-numbersâ Laymon story that was just kinda, there.
im loving Come Out Tonight so far.
what im mainly looking for is this: a fast pace, signature Laymon twists, and preferably dark and grotty as opposed to the more fantastical stuff he does.
please do NOT recommend me Night In The Lonesome October or books similar to it, like The Stake. i hear these are his more âliteraryâ works and I want to save that upper echelon of Laymon for last. right now, i want trashy and gory.

2025.01.20 03:00 dailygoodz Toxoplasmosis? FIP? Help Please!
Long story short, I woke up to my cat (2 1/2 year old neutered male - adopted him from a rescue at 3 months old - indoor cat) acting very weird on Wednesday (crying which he isnât vocal, growling and looking around like he was seeing something, and walking a few steps then stopping)
Our primary vet was closed for the day, so I took him to an animal hospital, where they did an x-ray of his lungs and abdomen, gave him fluids, and checked his vitals. I took him there because he had a bout of constipation a few months ago and needed an enema so I wanted to make sure that it wasnât the same thing.
When we returned home, he kept acting really weird. So I ended up, rushing him to the emergency room, they did an ultrasound of his abdomen, a full blood panel, and insured that his urinary tract was not blocked.
As I was on my way to pick him up, the doctor called me and let me know that he noticed him having a partial facial focal seizure. By the time I got to the hospital, they said that he had had several more. He has never had a history of seizures before
They told me that on the blood work, the liver enzymes were a little elevated, as well as enlarged lymph nodes, stated that his body mass was smaller than normal, and his onset of random neuro symptoms made them believe that it could potentially be toxoplasmosis. They did a blood test and I get the results in 5 to 7 days.
In the meantime, I went to a emergency neurologist the next morning. We only have one in our state, and thankfully, it is right down the road. The neurologist did a physical exam on him, checked his reflexes, checked his eyes, and also told us that the only way we could get a complete diagnosis would be an MRI. He did mention no based on the findings at the ER, that he wasnât opposed to the thinking of the ER doctors with toxoplasmosis. He told me to continue the seizure medicine (Keppra) and the clindamycin until we get the results back for the toxoplasmosis.
Over the last few days, he has definitely shown improvement. He has been eating, he has pooped, he has peed, and has been up and walking around. He is not back to normal or back to his normal level of activity, but compared to how he was the day we took him to the ER. He is doing a lot better.
Both at the ER and animal hospital, they did not mention that he had a high heart rate, or a high temperature, all of his vitals were fine.
I noticed one small focal seizure the morning after the Neuro app, when he had only one dose of the seizure medicine in his system. He is only three days in, and I havenât noticed one in two days since the neuro app.
Although Iâve seen improvement, he still is not completely himself. He is lethargic, very sleepy and lowkey. But I believe this is due to the seizure activity, 15 hours in the ER and two new medicines being introduced.
This has been one of the most stressful times of my life, and I am looking for advice on this situation and on experiences of toxoplasmosis in cats. I also see a lot of people mention FIP when talking about neuro issues in cats, but none of the 3 doctors mentioned that to me, so now Iâm worried about that. Is it a good sign heâs more active on the meds? What do I look out for?
