Hello all,
I’m a P1 student at a T10 pharmacy school, and I’m still adjusting to life here. My school operates on a block curriculum, which has been a bit overwhelming for me as I navigate the constant deadlines and sheer volume of material. It’s a lot, but I’m doing my best to stay on top of everything. Lately, something happened at school that I just can’t stop thinking about. There was this couple in the P2 year, everyone kind of knew them because they were both incredibly smart, driven, and honestly seemed perfect for each other. One of them was even a straight A student with a 4.0, someone we all looked up to. They had been together since undergrad and always seemed so in sync, always studying together and motivating each other.
But a few weeks ago, word got out that they broke up. And it wasn’t just a quiet, amicable 'we’re going separate ways' kind of breakup, it was messy. From what I heard, one of them found out the other had been secretly texting someone else, and it led to a huge confrontation in the middle of the library. People who were there said it was heartbreaking to see, tears, yelling, the whole thing. The fallout was devastating. The one who was so heartbroken couldn’t even focus on school anymore. They started skipping class, falling behind on assignments, and eventually, they dropped out altogether. This was someone who had always been on top of everything, the kind of person you’d never expect to struggle. It’s just wild to me how something so personal could derail someone who seemed untouchable.
I don’t know, it just hit me hard. I guess it made me realize how much pressure we’re all under and how easily things can spiral out of control. Have any of you experienced something like this or seen something similar happen? It’s made me wonder how much of myself I should really be pouring into school versus, well, everything else in life.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

So i'm looking for some tips and insight from those in high elo. My main role is strategist but I can foex to other roles if needed. Season 0 I managed to place high Plat but this season it feels like I cannot climb back out of Gold, everytime I hit Gold I and am a game or two away from Plat, I go on a loss streak and lose all the progress I made, so any help would be appreciated. Below is a game I genuinely feel I couldnt have done anything more on my own so hoping to hear from those with a better game sense than my own.

I have had a sinus infection for over two weeks and nothing has been seeming to help. I have done the saline rinse about 2 times a day (morning and night) and using Flonase afterwards. My nose is constantly plugged and I cannot breathe out of it. My symptoms have been getting worse. I have green/yellow mucus, conjunction, and clogged ears. I now have been also getting headaches and lots of pressure on the left side of my face. I have been taking headache medication because it is unbearable To the point where my teeth are starting to hurt. I have tried to do lots of research about what to do, but all of the websites say the same thing.
Does blowing my nose make the inflammation worse or is it okay to blow my nose when needed? I feel like a lot of this is due to the inflammation not going down in my nose, but I don’t know how to make it go down when I can’t breathe out of my nose.
I have contacted my doctor about antibiotics but have not heard back yet.
What should I do to help relieve this sinus infection?

I just wanted to share my recent experiences with dramatically increasing the amount of reading that I've been doing in my target language (French). I've been learning it since 2021, and am probably around a B2 for speaking, maybe B2/C1 for listening and reading.
Last year I read a decent amount in French (12 total books), but my reading wasn't consistent throughout the year.
For this year I set a more aggressive goal of reading 24 books and I've started out (right after Christmas) reading more per day, and more consistently than in any stretch of 2024. Over the last four weeks I've read a minimum of an hour a day - every day, with some days approaching 2 or 2.5 hours.
Without a doubt I've noticed a significant improvement in my reading speed and a boost in comprehension, but I've also noticed improvement in my listening and speaking skills. During my last Italki conversation, for example, the language just felt like it was "flowing" out of me!

Hello to all! Yesterday I played with a group of friends I haven’t shuffled up with in a while. 3 games in total. Two of the players in the group both ran the new Zimone from HoH.
The first game one of the players managed to have Yedora, Ashaya, and Zimone on board and it went wide really quickly. Second game a similar win condition unfolded only this time overwhelming stampede being the finisher.
I have a fairly strong Obuun build with all of the bells and whistles.

I was so enamored with how it played out I immediately wanted to swap to simic. Even tho I was swinging each turn with a really big land and keeping players on their toes with commander damage, I don’t seem to be doing much else.
I have some funky blue creatures from previous builds. Some Eldrazi I could part with from my Selvala build. But I really need input/suggestions and cards/creatures to stay away from. Cool blue or green baddies like Koma, Aesi, Stormtide leviathan, Gin Gitaxias. Apex Devastator…
There will be auto-includes but anything helps! Or should I just keep Obuun?

Super urgent i need help!! , i’ve always been a pink undertone my whole life and im super pale, i never ever tan and i avoid it as much as possible. recently i noticed my skin started to turn yellow??? like its not super obvious but my undertone has turned yellow :((( my face is yellow now aside from my cheeks that are very pink , and so is my neck as well as my stomach and chest??? but my legs and arms are still pink. does anyone know what this is and how to reverse it???? pleaseeee help !!

What if every race has 2 or 3 variations, with slightly different agents. And you don't have to reveal which one you have until you use their powers.
The idea is to bring surprise to the game. And because you could pick those agents after the universe is defined you couldn't adapt a little to your neighbours
For example, the embers could have a hero that produces 2 world suns in a supernova. Then until the last minute your enemies wouldn't know if you can destroy a system or creates those units. Or the Naalu could have a hero that force a user to pick a particular strategy card.

 | Old happy model crux3 2s I’ve been flying for years. Dropped in a new o4 air unit but I’m not very good at beta flight. So everything works flys and video from air unit is good but no info is being sent to the googles (osd) and if I turn on my old analog monitor the info gets sent to it. I know I need to hit some switches etc but pretty sure I’ll mess something up in beta flight without help. Basically I need to turn off the vtx on the fc and have the fc send info to the air unit then to googles. I’m guessing. I didn’t wire the sbus and the signal ground because I’m not using a dji fpv controller.
