Hi everybody, I want to play DA:O and DA2 for the first time in over a decade. I own both on steam, but cannot get DA:O to start up. Initially it crashed out of the launcher in a way that required installing a microsoft kit to get to the main menu. Now it simply crashes at the first loading screen from the main menu, even when I have intro cinematics disabled. Is there a more stable platform for me to play these on, or common troubleshooting I may have missed out on?

Pongamos tres ejemplos claros: 1. Trabajadores de bajos ingresos: Cuando una persona con recursos limitados tiene que combinar dos o tres trabajos para sobrevivir, como vender productos durante su horario laboral (por ejemplo, un vigilante que vende dulces o cigarrillos), se le ve como alguien esforzado, un luchador que está “saliendo adelante como puede”. Nadie cuestiona su ética; se entiende como una necesidad. 2. Altos ejecutivos y emprendedores: Por otro lado, si un directivo o alguien con altos ingresos tiene varios proyectos simultáneos (como ser consultor o formar parte de varias juntas directivas), se le percibe como un hombre ocupado, exitoso y admirado. Es el típico “hombre de negocios”, alguien cotizado y capaz de manejar múltiples compromisos. Incluso cuando sus reuniones y decisiones se solapan, esto se celebra como un símbolo de su “gran capacidad” y no como algo cuestionable. 3. Trabajadores de clase media: Aquí entra la controversia. Si una persona en un empleo tradicional (por ejemplo, un programador o un empleado promedio) decide tomar más de un trabajo remoto, buscando ahorrar para una casa o salir del ciclo de vida “de cheque a cheque”, se le etiqueta como inmoral, deshonesto o incluso como estafador. Esto sucede incluso si cumple con ambos trabajos y alcanza los objetivos esperados.
En los tres casos, las personas tienen múltiples fuentes de ingreso y, probablemente, hacen overlap de sus horas laborales. For those who don’t know — back in 2018, Six Flags entered into a deal with Riverside Investment Group to build theme parks in China. When the parks faced significant delays and issues, Six Flags called them “temporary setbacks.” However, the issues were much more severe than they let on, and the news about it caused a big $SIX drop.
After that, investors filed a suit against them, but the good news is that Six Flags decided to settle and pay investors $40M over this. So, if you were an investor between 2018 and 2020, you can check the info and file for the payment here.

How do you know if your mods are working? When I open the game and the main menu comes on there is an option on the menu screen that says 'mods'. But when I select that one, it only gave me a choice of XP/ Street cred multiplier, nothing else. I do have tthe infinite eddies. But those are not the only two mods that I put on there.
