I was laying on my back in human form, defeated, and with a strange numbness to my senses I could not describe.
The experience was confusing, exciting, and downright animalistic. I could not even tell what on earth caused me to be in such a state.
I had been bested and thrown to the ground by my greatest foe of all. The winner had her head laying on my naked chest.
I was still not sure what happened during or after that ceremony, and now I was laying here in a human-size nest bed in Yuna's bedroom. No, not Yuna, but Alexandra Willow. Alexandra didn't mind me calling her Yuna, so it became her nickname.
Alexandra Willow was... an average looking woman. She was sickly skinny, had clear physical symptoms of overworking, and neglected her appearance in terms of make-up and hairstyle, but not clothes or hygiene. Yet, when I saw her in front of me, she managed to shake me internally to the point that I could not defend against her attacks...
"What are you thinking about?"
Ah no, pillow talk!
"I was wondering if I could fake falling asleep to avoid the pillow talk..."
Yuna lifted her head and looked at me, squinting her eyes.
"I was wondering how it was possible for you to become human again."
She snickerd.
"That's all? Read the description for princesses. I've been waiting for that since I discovered it in your memories."
I was a bit confused and opened my skill book. At the same time, Yuna laid her head back on my chest and listened to my heartbeat.

The swarm's next queen:
You can mutate a swarmbeast sentinel to a swarmbeast princess. Princesses are the highest class of summoners of the swarm below the leading summoner.
Every princess will increase the swarm size by 5% and is separately calculated from Sentinel increase.
Every princess will increase the available sentinels by 2.
Princesses have the same skills as the leading summoner, including summoning other princesses.
Princesses have the same cooldown as the leading summoner.
The princess will help you until it dies. Shares cool down with "call to swarm."

Cooldown: 40 seconds

I looked at it...
"Except for the fact that 'swarmbeast tyrant' had been replaced by 'leading summoner', I don't see it."
She lifted her head again, looked a bit annoyed, then playfully slapped my belly, creating a small pop.
"You are reading the wrong sentence. It says that princesses have the same skills as you."
I looked at it and started to understand.
"I programmed this differently..."
"I know. I should only have the same summoning skills as you. I saw those memories whenever our minds touched each other."
She smiled at me.
"I managed to convince Gaia to take the description literally instead of your interpretation of it."
"Wait? You talked to Gaia?"
She nodded.
"Ever since you touched the first piece of Gaia's mercy, we all could communicate with her. The others and I had been visiting her regularly. "
I was shocked.
"Why didn't you... wait, no. You couldn't talk. Why didn't She say anything?"
"Made her promise to keep it secret."
Was I being played by every woman on this planet? Gaia, Ogra, and Yuna. Who else?
"How? Why?... Why did she even entertain that idea to change the summons?"
"I was a lawyer on earth. If there are rules or laws, I can bend any judge's opinion and secure a victory."
She grinned, then kissed my chest.
"During one of the first meetings with Gaia, I asked for information about all your skills, enhancements, and evolutions, including the ones she has planned. I read all of it."
I put my finger on her lips, but she continued, speaking from one side of her mouth.
"Don't worry. I know you like surprises, so I won't spoil it to you."
She kissed my chest again, then came closer and kissed my lips before continuing the conversation.
"Can I give you some advice?"
"Sure."
"First, stop using Devine Crystals. It will only delay you in the long run."
"Sounds acceptable, but Gaia wants me to get rid of them."
Yuna shook her head.
"For Gaia, it doesn't matter if it's tomorrow or in a century. But if you want to unlock your ultimate, you better get grinding those enhancements."
Ah, yeah... she definitely knows about every detail of my creation. I never mentioned the ultimate after filling up the swarm enhancement tree. The ultimate for the other trees was simple. It removed the limitations on claw consumption of that particular aspect, but the swarm was programmed in a different way.
"Alright. Will do that."
"And you should aim to get swarm 100 first, then slowly fill every branch from the bottom to the top before moving on to the next branch."
"Why that? Would it not be better to fill up tiers first before moving on instead of trying to get single branches filled up?"
She simply smiled and said nothing.
"You don't want that I get more princesses, right?"
She started to do circles on top of my chest.
"We all live here..."
Then she pointed at my head.
"... but I am the only one to have seen what's in here. I don't want to share you with the others. And I know you will be charmed by the other women and soon forget me..."
That sentence reminded me of someone. I thought about my father and how he has been faithful to my mother without fail to that day. He is no superhero, but he is an honorable man. Someone I can use as an example on that aspect.
"No, I won't."
She shook her head.
"Yes, you will. This system you created, and that Gaia helped kickstart, it is more powerful than you think. And the other girls will devour you if they ever become princesses. I know that..."
Then, in an almost inaudible tone.
"... Because I did it myself just now..."
I had to admit that I had fallen for her excessively fast.
I wanted to deny it again, but then I remembered how the swarms were structured in the lore I had created. The queen is on top, then came the tyrants, then princesses, and then the rest.
It was always tyrants that chose the queen, and she gained full control over them, just like tyrants had full control over princesses until they became queens. Maybe, in the absence of a queen, the princesses had more power over the tyrants than I thought. There was the possibility that, in the absence of a queen, the princesses were more... ferocious and alluring.
Could it be that the queen suppressed the princesses with her presence alone?
That was a problem. There was an enhancement above princess that was crucial for the future, but it wasn't a queen... there was no queen summoning.

2025.01.20 17:49 isThisTheTruth Gold 3 stuck with bad teams
So I'm Gold 3 and I was literally about 50 points away from Platinum and I solo q. I'm down to about 3200 points now (400 away from Platinu).
For about 95% of my games I'm at the top of the leaderboard leading in both kills and objective points for BOTH TEAMs. It usually is not even close and by large margins, but I keep getting plagued with terrible teams.
I'm currently hard stuck and I've lost probably 10 of my last 12 games because my teams are so terrible. I understand needing to be able to "carry" a team to an extent so prove your worthiness for the next rank, but it's so bad at this rank where it seems no one knows how to play the objectives properly or they are terrible shooters.
Any of you higher rank guys have any tips for getting out of this rank? Is it really just and grind and some luck until I get to the ranks where the matches are more competitive and people at least know how to play a little better?

2025.01.20 17:49 phatelectribe My pump needs a pump. Advice on best practice?
 | I have this pump basin / barrel under my house (which is for the sewer / drain that comes from my guest house bathroom) and it shoots the waste up in to the sewer / drain under my house. The problem is that the pit which the basin / barrel sits in becomes flooded during heavy rain as the water table rises, to the point that the barrel becomes buoyant and will pop off the fernco connected to the drain line. My temp solution is pictured which is just a small submersible pump with float switch and I connect the hose to the cleanout above but I want something permanent and less ghetto, especially as I can’t have the cleanout open when the main pump is running (💦💩) Can anyone advise what the best setup would be make a permanent solution for the pit? submitted by phatelectribe to Plumbing [link] [comments] |

2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.6 HEV.
Starting yesterday, the truck will not start. It is stuck either in the "Acc" or "Run" state. * When pressing start while pressing the brake, the light changes to "run" but the engine does not start. Pressing the start button does nothing for about ten seconds before returning to "acc". Pressing start does not change to "off". * When pressing start while not pressing the brake, the light changes to "run" but does not start the engine (as expected). Pressing the start button returns to "acc". Again, will not change to "off".
I believe this has killed the battery as the engine will not start. I am able to jumpstart the truck, but the battery will not hold a charge, & i cannot start it again afterwords. Even with the jumpstarted & running, I cannot turn the truck "off".
What could this possibly be? Any ideas how i can go about resolving this issue?

Hello, I'm having problems using bluestacks on certain games. When playing, for no specific reason, the controller will start pulling in one direction and will only stop when I mash the buttons. This, obviously, makes it impossible to play those games. Wondering if this is a "known" thing or what it could be? It's both infuriating and confusing.
