I lost my little flip up key fob thing for my 2020 Niro FE. Went to the nearest Kia dealer and since I need the car there to get a new programmed fob, I asked the service folks if just cutting a new key key would work to get the vehicle to their shop. They seemed to think that was a good plan. Now I’m at home and when I turn the key everything seems right, but the engine doesnt actually start. In most cars with transponder based ignitions that require the fob to be near the dashboard, a “no key detected” message would appear. On the niro, it just says “start engine to avoid battery discharge”.
Battery is fully charged and reads 13 v when I turn the key. I hear a very faint clicking when I try to start it which makes me think the starter isn’t getting power.
Do Niro hybrids have immobilizer systems where the fob/transponder must be present? Or is there something else going on?

I do play with mods, however when I disable all mods and restart the game and start a new campaign as any greenskin lord, when i recruit the goblin shaman, I go to the skill menu and there is a missing mount node where the spider mount should be. same thing in the equipment menu, the option isnt there, just the wolf mount. Hi, I'm trying to decide between the two telescopes in the description. I have the Mak70 now and I've been loving it. Using it with my 5-year-old to learn the sky and see the planets and Moon. I just saw the 100 AZ at Costco for a good price- about the same that I paid for the Mak70. I'm wondering from folks with more experience if we would get more out of the 100 AZ with larger aperture or if the difference is not so great between the two options. If this hobby catches on I can imagine us buying or building an 8-in Dob. Or who knows as we build a collection together. From what I can understand, it seems like the Mak70 he's a nice compliment amongst other scopes, but if you were a limited best one the 100AZ is a bit more versatile?

2025.01.20 17:51 show-me-your-nudez How can I make custom races darker at night?
I race using PSVR2 and I like racing at night. Unfortunately, they don't seem very dark. What settings/track combo would be best to really bring out the dark? I want my headlights to actually be necessary to see, sort of thing, because I can turn off the headlights and it won't make much of a difference.
For reference, my brightness settings in game are default, so I could lower it, but that would make everything else darker, including daytime.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I really want to live in a farmhouse. I have a few friends and we're setting up businesses left and right, most of these are little IT gigs. All of these jobs would mostly be work from home due to IT nature.
Now, let's be honest. Real estate in cities is costly. I want a house that at least has a backyard where i can grow plants, a house that does not kiss the neighbour's wall, and at least has a proper setback and is a little spacious.
You cannot have that in a city, unless you've inherited that much land. Or spend 1-1.5 Cr to buy such a land.
So, I thought, why not farmhouses? A quarter acre plot would be affordable, or at least I've seen 6000 sqft plots from like 18 lakhs some 50 kms from the Bangalore city centre.
Anybody who lives in farmhouses after FIRE? How's life? Or is there anybody who knows such a person? Any info is appreciated.
