2025.01.20 23:20 ProfessionalSorry139 Obviously everyone has different responses to crushes regardless of type, but generally speaking, what do y’all reckon a 5w6 would be like when infatuated?
In my case as an INTP, I guard my feelings and try to rationalise them despite how overwhelming they can be, on account of crushes often defying logic, and the fact that I’m usually a logical person - albeit, cautiously logical. I haven’t had a proper crush recently and am only saying all this based on how well I currently know myself, which admittedly isn’t very well, but I know enough at this point. My mind goes haywire and my cognitive functions (especially Ti-Ne) seriously act up. I also know for a fact that my eye contact and stutter become worse and more uncontrollable due to anxiety related to my crush’s impression on me. I don’t like that I become a neurotic shell of myself when crushing due to the fact that I’m pretty much an adult now. I get everyone has crushes, but sometimes I wonder if romantic feelings are just chemical in nature and nothing more.
Things were different (and definitely worse) when I was younger though, as I would become a nervous mess who can’t stop stuttering, blushing and looking for ways to talk to my crush. I even used to pull all nighters just because I couldn’t stop thinking about her. Being 19 now, my crush-induced nervousness is still there but I can hide it much better, and I look back on my younger days with disgust due to how pathetic I looked - it lowkey ruined things between me and my crush, as we got along decently well before I liked her.
Love is weird. 😵💫

I mostly collect pokemon but do a little mtg as well. For pokemon the japanese card quality is significantly better, more vibrant color, deeper and more interesting texture patterns, etc. Does anyone have alt arts in both languages for a comparison? I want the aerial alt, there are currently very few English available while the japanese isn't too expensive.

I feel like in another circumstance I would be happy. And I guess for her I am. I’m glad she’s stopped drinking. Mind you she has cirrhosis so it’s not like if she wants to live there’s any other choice.
My entire life my mother has been violent, psychologically and physically abusive, raging, shrieking, paranoid, downright evil at times. I was beaten, screamed at daily, shamed, and isolated well into my 20s. And now that she’s at deaths door quitting drinking, I’m supposed to once again make everything about her and her recovery.
I’m just so angry. Like congratulations. You only torched your entire family for 35 years first. And you probably are going to die from this and leave all of us again without a meaningful parent. But good job pookie.

She sent me something the same day about orientation and all that. Weird thing is I didn’t get the results from my second drug test but I got them for my first. Anyone know why?

 | Hey gang. About two weeks ago I noticed my alternator whining, and got “low power mode” warnings on the radio when I first turned the car on or idled. I’m at 175k with the original, so it seems like a pretty straight forward fix. I finally got the replacement alternator and today was going to take it to the shop to have it swapped, but in the meantime the battery’s gone completely flat. I hooked it up to jump it, and get nothing but Christmas tree and clicking after several minutes of charging. Now I’m a little paranoid I’ve got more problems going on. What do you think? I've got a weird set of requirements for this, and I know that "no" is a very real answer. But I've seen ads for a bunch of retro emulators shoved into one package, so I was wondering.
My dad is a truck driver. He's lonely a lot of the time, and mentions being really bored during his 10 or 48 hour resets. He doesn't like playing games on his phone, because he thinks touchscreens are too finicky. Most of the time he ends up looking at AI memes on Facebook and slowly going insane.
He's told me a bunch about how he used to love playing Atari games when he was a kid, along with older PC games like Myst or Monkey Island. He thinks games today are too complicated. But he does like games that let him play board games like checkers or Scrabble.
So, preamble out of the way, I'm looking for something that can-
Be loaded with retro games Is compact enough to keep in his truck without adding unnecessary clutter Battery life between 4-6 hours (Not required) Could potentially be used for us to play board games together.
His birthday is in March, and I want to surprise him with something to make his days on the road a little less tedious.

We have been discussing artificial intelligence and large language models (AI/LLMs) within the community for a while now, and as of right now AI is generally almost always disallowed, but we have failed at asking the community for their opinion on this matter, and so this is the first of various community feedback threads focused on various issues we've observed within the community, the feedback therein will influence moderation policies and guidelines going forward.
AI/LLMs have been manifesting in various ways from study assistance to content generation to LoO interpreters. As moderators, we recognize both the opportunities and challenges this presents to our community. We are reaching out to hear your perspectives on how AI should be integrated into and/or limited within our community discussions.
The Law of One material represents a precisely channeled body of work with carefully considered meaning in each word. The question before us is how to balance the usage of AI with the preservation of this material's integrity and the authentic spiritual growth of our community members. We have observed community members expressing concern about AI-generated interpretations, while others have found valuable assistance in using AI tools to organize their thoughts and studies.
A particular challenge we face is maintaining inclusivity for members who rely on AI tools for accessibility reasons, while ensuring the quality and from-the-heartness of our discussions. Some members have shared that AI assists them in organizing and expressing their thoughts in ways they otherwise find challenging. These cases deserve careful consideration in any guidelines we develop.
From our observations as moderators, the community generally prefers human-written, heart-centered content that springs from genuine personal experience and understanding. We've noticed that posts/comments seen as AI-generated tend to receive less engagement and appreciation. Our preliminary view is that while AI might serve as a valuable study tool when properly verified, it should not replace personal interpretation and genuine spiritual seeking.
We ask you to share your experiences and perspectives on all aspects of AI usage within our community. How has AI influenced your study of the Law of One? What boundaries feel appropriate to you? How might we approach AI-assisted content? What guidelines would best serve our community's spiritual health and unity while remaining inclusive and supportive?
Your input will directly inform our moderation policies going forward. We encourage you to share both positive and negative experiences, practical suggestions, and any concerns you may have about AI's role in our future discussions.
