Hey! I‘ve just recently chimed in and started watching all the games I could catch. So far I haven‘t seen that many different teams - a few repeats like the Houston Texans. (mostly due to the fact that games start around 2:30 AM here lol.) I‘m not from the states so I can‘t just support my states team. There‘s I think 5 Teams that I seen play and for some reason seem to favor over the others I seen, for no particular reason really. So how do I decide on which team? This is the first time I‘m getting into any kind of sport. 😂

So, I’m in a pretty awkward situation right now. My dad and his partner (they’ve been together for about 15 years, so I’m not sure if I should call her his girlfriend, partner, or stepmom) recently asked me if my dad is a womanizer and if he meets other women. The thing is, her instincts are spot on, and I accidentally said something that kind of confirmed her suspicions.
Now I feel really guilty because I know the truth, but I don’t think it’s my place to tell her outright. I feel torn because, while I don’t want to lie to her, I also don’t want to betray my dad.
To be honest, I’ve always tolerated my dad’s behavior even though I know it’s wrong. I just don’t want to get involved in their issues because I feel like it’s not my responsibility, and I want to protect myself from the drama.
The thing is, my stepmom has actually caught my dad doing this before, but she still accepted him. He kept insisting that she accept him and his behavior, and it seems like she eventually gave in. Despite that, she’s still questioning me about him now, and it’s making me feel really conflicted.
On top of everything, my stepmom has never really helped us, and I don’t know what’s going through her mind. It just feels kind of awkward whenever I have to interact with her.
To make things worse, she keeps texting me, asking follow-up questions and sharing how upset she feels. It’s starting to feel like she’s guilt-tripping me, and it’s making the situation even more stressful.
I don’t know how to handle this kind of situation. Should I have been more honest with her? Should I have denied it to protect my dad? How do I deal with her texts without making things worse or ruining relationships on either side?

2025.01.21 09:50 HerminioHenrique Toyota dealership vs trusted mechanic: Is the price difference worth it?
I recently bought a 2009 Toyota iQ that’s in amazing condition. Most of its services were done at Toyota, including four consecutive years at the same dealership I’m considering now.
Here’s the situation:
The dealership quoted me £415 for a Full Service, which includes everything my car needs right now (like spark plugs, oils/filters and brake fluid changes). On top of that, they’ll provide a full inspection of the car and a detailed report on its overall condition, highlighting anything that might need attention soon. They also stamp the service book, which is always nice to have for resale value.
My trusted mechanic, on the other hand, can do the same service for £340, including parts (which I supply from brands like Bosch). He also offered to replace my brake pads for free while doing the service, which is a nice bonus. However, while he does a great job, he doesn’t stamp the service book, and he doesn’t provide a detailed report or full inspection like the dealership. If he notices something during the service, he’ll let me know, but it’s not the same level of thoroughness.
This is the first service I’m doing since buying the car, so I’m trying to decide if it’s worth paying the extra £75 (which is actually more, considering the dealership wouldn’t include the brake pad replacement) for the dealership’s inspection, report, and stamp, or if I should stick with the savings and personal service from my mechanic.

Last night, my ECOSYS P5021cdn printed several jobs that I didn't recognize. Fortunately, they were only two pages each, each containing just a few characters à la ‘WingDings’.
I'm the only person on my network and none of my friends who have my WLAN password should have been in the vicinity. As I don't sleepwalk either, I'm now confused as to where these orders came from. Unfortunately, the print job status page isn't very informative and doesn't show me where the jobs came from or who sent them.
Is there any way to find out more about the source of the print jobs?

Hey all - we love the Snoo and generally, LO (3 weeks) sleeps great in it. However, recently he has started grunting in it non stop. Sometimes he’s asleep, sometimes he’s awake. Last night he grunted for 2 hours. He does not do this in our arms, chest, or normal bassinet that he naps in.
I don’t think it’s digestion issues if he doesn’t do it anywhere else. We also took his arms out, but that didn’t help.
Help?! Has anyone else experienced this? I’m ready to get rid of our Snoo and get an ordinary bassinet ☹️

Is it safe for me to buy plants that are already grown from Facebook marketplace? As in grown in tanks or outdoor ponds where you can’t be fully sure the of the water quality? If I do buy them, do I just rinse in conditioned water or are there other steps I should take for safety. I haven’t started my tank yet but I would be adding the plants when I start the tank cycle before adding a betta. My tank is secondhand so I will be cleaning it before use and will probably just pile the store-bought plants into a bucket to rinse off. Also, is liquid tank fertiliser necessary when using fluval substrate and root tabs or will my plants be fine without added growth boosters. I will not be doing co2 injection for the time being.
Also, as an update from my previous post, I have purchased my dream tank for $40 less than brand new and it is in great condition, I’m incredibly happy about that! I’ve also made my online purchases and swapped out my shopping list to include seachem prime and stability. I’m still on the fence about adding sand so that will be a job for next week when I’m back home and can go into the stores to compare. Thank you for all the help and great advice!
