I’m removing posts that mention having work done. I let it slide initially because it’s technically a choice people make, but the amount of attention on this one topic feels obsessive now. While I agree that influencers should be honest about certain things (eg using weight loss drugs rather than lying about exercise and diet), the truth is that we will never know for sure if someone did something more subtle (or if it’s just the usual angles/filters). Anna and Amanda do so many snark-worthy things, I don’t want to resort to snarking on their appearance (even if it is fake too!). I know some of you don’t like this interpretation of the rule, but until someone proposes a vote on changing it, that’s the rule. If you don’t want to bother with my (reasonable, democratic!) rules, then feel free to make and moderate your own sub.

Please bear with me if I am really overthinking this, I just really care about this and want to make sure I give all the details but also know I don’t think before I type much 😀🙏so it may be a bit spread out. Anyways:
I started a new job a few months back and the first few shifts there I saw the cutest guy, I mean straight up crush at first sight type thing. Come to find out he’s 5 years older than me (I’m 18) and we started talking the first day and It was a good convo and I got his Instagram (which he offered to me) and we would occasionally talk on there. Not too long after I started working there though, he put his 2 weeks in and left, and I, who just started, was lowkey upset about it LMFAO 😭 but I told a coworker of mine that I was upset I missed a chance and he suggested I asked to hang out with him outside of work, which I did, and got a yes! Now we’ve done this multiple times over the last few months, mainly in the early afternoon to mid afternoon, going on outdoor activities and then eating after (he chooses spots and they are all amazing) and he will pay more often than me even if I offer to pay him back (I’ve paid before and he won’t mind if I insist). He always is the one to drive us around btw like I’ll have my car but we will park somewhere so I can join him in his if we go somewhere so there’s that too. Just recently we went out at night for the first time and I met his siblings and he met mine, and we had a good time but it got cut short. The main thing that gave positive vibes is he was talking to me but we were both sitting the furthest away from each other (one end of the booth and the other end, but there wasn’t a table covering it just a booth by itself) and he moved over to sit right next to me to talk more. When we are hanging out, it’s always been alone until this time, so this time he just gave me a side hug but usaully it’s a full out hug in the car goodbye or if we are out of the car it’s a regular full hug. I really like him and I want to confess to him how I feel, but the things that mentally holds me back is that he 1) might not like that I’m young and 2) has said before when we talked about relationships in general that he wants to work on improving himself and to be at. State where he doesn’t rely on someone else to be happy (which I get but doesn’t really give I like you too vibes) so I’m conflicted, Is there any hope that this would go well if I confessed? (I’m also the type to delete these after I get a few responses out of anxiety as the first time I’ve ever posted one of these someone dmed me pretending to be my crush so I get so nervous he’s gonna find this and this is the most detailed one yet LOL)

Bei einem Langstreckenflug mit Turkish Airlines wurde mein Koffer, ein Rimowa Classic L, beschädigt. Konkret ist ein Scharnier auf der Rückseite einseitig herausgebrochen.
Nach Meldung des Schadens bei Lost & Found und anschließendem kurzen E-Mail-Austausch wurde mir nun ein GLS-Retourschein zugeschickt, mit dem Hinweis, dass die Reparatur 6–8 Wochen dauern könnte. Leider fehlen in der Mitteilung einige wichtige Informationen, die ich gerne klären möchte: 1. Reparatur durch Rimowa oder Drittanbieter? Wird die Reparatur direkt von Rimowa durchgeführt oder erfolgt diese durch einen Drittanbieter? Diese Information wurde in der E-Mail nicht erwähnt, und ich frage mich, ob durch eine Reparatur außerhalb von Rimowa meine Garantie verfällt. 2. Ersatzgepäck während der Reparaturzeit: Da ich beruflich viel reise, bin ich auf Gepäck angewiesen. Gibt es eine Regelung für Ersatzgepäck während der Dauer der Reparatur? Falls ja, wie wird dies gehandhabt? 3. Irreparabler Schaden und Erstattung: Falls mein Koffer als irreparabel eingestuft wird, wie wird in diesem Fall der Ersatz geregelt? Ich habe den Koffer zu einem vergleichsweise günstigen Preis erworben, doch der Wiederbeschaffungswert ist inzwischen erheblich gestiegen. Wird der aktuelle Marktwert erstattet?
