Sophomore in college, I live in college about an hour and half away from my hometown. Recently it's been feeling so off when I visit home, and I always get extremely sad to the point of crying when I have to leave to come back to college. I just have this weird sinking feeling in my chest and I can't understand why because I love my family very much and it makes me feel guilty sometimes like I'm a bad kid. Is there any explanation to this?

Hey folks! New to this sub. Looking for likeminded people to recommend books and I’m happy to assist others as well! Looking for epic/sci-fi/fantasy world building series (think, escaping reality)! My goal this year is 20 books!
2024 Review: Got hooked on The Empyrean Series and Onyx Storm is at the top of my list to read next! Last year I enjoyed Red Rising (third time reading through the entire series as I needed a refresher before reading Light Bringer). Highly recommend as it has become one of my all time favorite series for sure.
Also read Otherworld and enjoyed that a lot!! Went through a Stephen King phase a few years back, re-vamped that by reading IT in October! Finally caved and read Ready Player Two after going back and forth of whether I just want to stick with RP1. I’m also a sucker for Star Wars (flew through the Thrawn books…new and old).
2025: so far I have started Wheel of Time (it’s a grind so I’m taking my time there) and Nyxia. Onyx Storm will be next. Looking forward to see what’s all recommended!!

OP (56M)- I am about 10 - 14 years out from retirement. Depending on the scenario (10% return overtime in S and P 500 Index funds) I should retire with between 4M and 5M. A few years ago a friend recommended Ed Slott to me and the concept of the retirement savings time bomb. I have been converting everything to Roth slowly over the past few years and plan to have all my retirement except SocSec be 100% in Roth IRA or Roth 401K. Currently 62% of the funds have been converted to Roth and I was wondering what other people's strategies and/or conversion plans are. Any feedback would be helpful, thank you.
