2025.01.22 01:20 Immediate_Wolf3802 Bad Horror Movies you love 😍 "SLAUGHTER HIGH (1986)
It's genuinely a baaad movie with a 0% rating on rotten 🍅
It's filmed in England 🏴 with a mostly English cast trying to pull off American accents (aimed more for an American audience)
it's another revenge slasher (the Burning) and its done really really badly (terrified reunion classmate) takes a random bath instead of heading for the main doors
But it has charmed me for many years and I'm not sure why ???
It has memorable quotes, a clearly 30 something protagonist (the lovely Caroline Munroe from the Spy who Loved Me) oddly memorable and interesting and inventive scenes like the Marty picture in the hallway as the lights switch off 1 by 1
But it's not perfect 👌 the ending breaks every horror rule ever written (didn't like the ending) much
Uk fans look out for Frank (Billy Hartman) who played Terry Woods in Emmerdale Farm 👀
It's a sad fact Simon Scuddamore (Marty) died from a Heroin Overdose shortly before the movies release ...his close friends and family consider it a suicide as he had become manic depressive
It's seems the Movie may have gained a cult following over the years (an American fan of the movie even filmed a visit to the school and other filming locations) so you might wanna check that out as it's really cool
I give this bad movie a 8 out of 10

Hello :) I'm staying at Punda and I'd like to go to Mambo Beach on one of my days without a car - I do have a car but I want to enjoy one proper beach day with drinks, etc :)
I could take a taxi but that's unnecessarily expensive so I'm looking at bus options - and I'm completely lost at how they work :) I found a schedule for 6A bus departures from Punda, that seems clear enough, but for the love of god I can't find information on when it goes back.
(Alternatively Jan Thiel is also an option if easier to reach)

I am fairly new to keeping insects and the like. Id probably get a giant asian (unless there is one better for beginners). I have the money and the time and the patience! I need help on what to feed though. Many websites tell me different things, that you should only feed crickets and never silkworms or why would you feed them silkworms? Only dubia roaches! No! Dubia roaches will make them sick! I just need help. I have access to well bred feeder insects of all varieties.

Lesson learnt: check the size of a mini before you buy the STL - ended up wasting good money on an STL that was waaaay too big to be scaled down.
Also, if anyone has any tips of mini photography please send them my way. I already decreased the brightness and increased the exposure (used the iPhone camera), but the pictures I take just end up so grainy. It’s particularly irritating cause when I first open up the picture in my phone it actually looks okay, but a moment later when my phone is done processing the photo or something everything sharpens and turns grainy ):

Hallo allemaal,
Vorig jaar heb ik mijn eerste motor aangeschaft en hier ben ik enrom blij mee. Ik ben 22 jaar en dit is voor mij een hele nieuwe hobby waar ik veel plezier uithaal. Het is dus ook niet gek dat ik enrom zuinig ben op mijn motor en graag zorg dat deze constant in topstaat is.
Helaas loop ik de laatste tijd tegen een probleem aan rondom de accu. Ik heb hier naast de aansluitingen van de motor zelf nog twee accessories op aangesloten (telefoonlader en ledstrips). Nu is de telefoonlader te onderbreken met een fysieke schakelaar,. maar dit geld niet voor de ledstrips. Deze kan ik wel uitzetten met een knopje, maar ik wil graag een fysieke schakelaar om lekspanning te voorkomen. Ik heb namelijk al een keer met mijn mond vol tanden gestaan toen de accu leeg was was. Dit waarschijnlijk door lekspanning en het koude weer. Ik gebruik ook een druppellader, maar hier kan ik niet op terugvallen als ik van huis ben met de motor.
Ik heb zelf al wat onderzoek gedaan naar hoe ik dit kan oplossen, maar zie eigenlijk alleen maar schakelaars die ik zelf zou moeten solderen. Nu kan ik dit wel, maar vertrouw ik er niet helemaal op dat dit waterdicht zou zijn en of dit me wel netjes lukt. Nogmaals, ik ben er erg zuinig op en wil geen half werk leveren.
Hebben jullie hier ideeën over? Ik was zelf eigenlijk opzoek naar een schakelaar die ik gemakkelijk op de polen van de accu kan aansluiten, soort van tussen de kabel en pool zegmaar. Iets zodat ik slechts de positieve of negatieve kabel los hoef te koppelen em daartussen die onderbreker kan zetten. Het liefst iets wat ook weatherproof is.
Tips of aanbevelingen zijn erg welkom :)
